  1. 'An important win'published at 22:27 GMT 3 December 2025

    FT: Burnley 0-1 Crystal Palace

    Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner speaking to Sky Sports: "We fought for each other and that's why it is an important win. It would help sometimes [to score another goal] because everyone knows in the Premier League that any team can score a goal. The commitment to the team was to a high standard. I am really proud of the team and how they stuck together today.

On Dean Henderson's save: "Very key. We know that we needed Dean in a few moments and he was here today. It was a huge save and a huge clearance from Chris Richards. Sometimes you need a bit of luck in these situations."

Unprepared, unbothered and undone by a newly promoted club. Chelsea have all the answers but asked no questions of Leeds. Extremely disappointed!

    Rashida - London

This is why I didn't fall for the Chelsea hype. Know how to turn up against big teams then get cocky and fumble against so called lesser teams.

  3. 'The small margins decided the game'published at 22:25 GMT 3 December 2025

    FT: Brighton 3-4 Aston Villa

    Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler, speaking to BBC MOTD: "The small margins decided the game and they weren't in our direction. A game takes 90 minutes and that's what we have to do better. Thirty minutes is not enough.

'We conceded two goals but we were still there. We had another chance, a big chance.

"We never gave up and that's positive. We can fight these kind of battles but it's about doing the small margins right."

  4. 'There are small margins that made the difference'published at 22:24 GMT 3 December 2025

    FT: Brighton 3-4 Aston Villa

    Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler, speaking to Sky Sports: "There are small margins that made the difference. it's about how you react and two set-pieces made the difference. These are the small margins. Overall we saw a team that never gave up and had the belief to win this game.

"Overall we defended it quite well in the season so far. It's not easy to defend set-pieces. The blocking of the goalkeeper, we still don't have a clear rule for that.

"It's not easy to concede goals and we want to react. We have to challenge adversity we face in the game and we have to be better.

"It was a matter of small margins. They scored in the second half after two set pieces and that's the difference. We have to do better and keep improving."

On Danny Welbeck: "He's not able to play more minutes today. Of course we want to bring a striker on. This team is much more mature now.

"You want to defend set-pieces better but we have to analyse the game. It was on the edge and Villa won it, we lost. We have to accept."

That Villa win could not have been more Unai Emery if he'd scored the goals himself. Was on the verge of fighting the players at 0-2 down. Brilliant. Best manager in England?

  6. 'This win says a lot about the team's fight'published at 22:22 GMT 3 December 2025

    FT: Burnley 0-1 Crystal Palace

    Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "We work hard. Tonight wasn't the prettiest game. Burnley are always going to make it difficult because they are fighting for every point. A win like that today says a lot about the team's fight. When we take a lead, we have confidence that we can see the game out.

On being in the top six: "I think a lot in the past it has been a mentality of it's OK to be wherever we are but since Oliver Glasner has come in, there is a real expectation that we put on ourselves to keep improving and keep fighting for points while doing the best that we can."

  7. 'On another day we could have got something'published at 22:20 GMT 3 December 2025

    FT: Arsenal 2-0 Brentford

    Brentford

Brentford boss Keith Andrews, speaking to Sky Sports: "I thought we unnerved them. Until the goal right at the end, the bits in between, we caused them untold problems. To say I'm proud of the boys is an understatement.

"I thought there were opportunities to play through them a bit more. I rolled the dice and went to a back four for the last few minutes. But it was a fantastic performance against top-level opponents. Arsenal are outstanding, the table doesn't lie.

"On another day we could have got something.

"The players are pushing me to pick them. I thought Rico Henry was outstanding in terms of how he dealt with Noni Madueke."

  8. 'Everyone who is handed an opportunity is performing'published at 22:19 GMT 3 December 2025

    FT: Arsenal 2-0 Brentford

    Arsenal

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta, speaking to Sky Sports: "It is always uncomfortable because all Brentford need is a throw and it's chaos and adventure. One-nil is never enough against them but I thought we dominated the game and created the biggest chances.

"Overall I am very happy. The week we had, three days later without any recovery...to do that again, I'm very proud of the players."

On David Raya's save: "I haven't looked at it back but it looked like a good reaction and a really important one. Their keeper made some very good saves as well. But that's what you need. In key moments our players need to do what they have to do and we have certainly done it."

Are you getting the maximum out of your side: "Yes, especially with the amount of injuries we still have. We lost Saliba, we lost big Gabby, today we lost Mosquera. It's been a challenge. Ben White was excellent today. Everyone that is given an opportunity is performing."

Injuries to Rice and Mosquera, and whether Saliba will be back for Aston Villa on Saturday: "We'll know more tomorrow. They need to be tested. Declan had to come off...let's see who is available."

On Mikel Merino's goal: "It's unbelievable what he has done again today, Not only the goal because the goal is magnificent. The movement, the quality, the finish, how he times it...and then his work-rate. It's phenomenal."

  9. 'A typical Leeds performance'published at 22:18 GMT 3 December 2025

    FT: Leeds 3-1 Chelsea

    Conor Coady
Wrexham defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Leeds were fantastic. You talk about bogey teams and I think they are Maresca's bogey team, he always seems to struggle against them.

From the very first whistle the intensity they played at resembled a typical Leeds performance.

  10. 'Leeds can see a way forward'published at 22:17 GMT 3 December 2025

    FT: Leeds 3-1 Chelsea

    Gary Neville
Former Manchester United defender on Sky Sports

Coming out of the bottom three is a big boost for Leeds, but the bigger boost is that they've won a big match.

They can see a way forward now.

Leeds fans were wondering 'has the coach got a plan B? is he going to be able to get us out of this mess?' The pressure was building.

But the way in which they played tonight will see them pick up more points.

There's a lot to like about what we saw.

  11. 'Step back for Liverpool'published at 22:16 GMT 3 December 2025

    FT: Liverpool 1-1 Sunderland

    Jamie Carragher
Former Liverpool defender on Sky Sports

Sunderland, fantastic, what an addition they've been to the Premier League. They're 10 or 12 points away from safety.

Liverpool, it's not even the draw, it's the performance. It's really worrying.

It feels like a real step back tonight to what you saw at West Ham at the weekend. They didn't look like scoring a goal at any moment of the game tonight. Missing the energy, zip, pace power. Really worrying.

  12. 'We had to dig in'published at 22:15 GMT 3 December 2025

    FT: Wolves 0-1 Nott'm Forest

    Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest boss Sean Dyche speaking to Sky Sports: "The hardest fight to win is the one you're supposed to. They have got pressure on them and you don't want to be the side to lose to them. Credit to them second half they kept throwing things at us but I'm pleased that we saw it through and got a clean sheet.

"A lot of Omari's [Hutchinson] work was excellent. I want a lot from our wide players and he worked hard. Igor [Jesus] plays hard and tough, a great header, brave and he doesn't flinch and gets a deserved goal.

"Ten points in six games, we're trying to achieve things and they're doing great. They've been listening and tonight is a tricky game, we've had to come here and do different things. We were effective first half and we had to dig in in the second half. This is the Premier League and we don't expect anyone to lie down and they didn't. We dug in."

  13. 'A group effort'published at 22:14 GMT 3 December 2025

    FT: Burnley 0-1 Crystal Palace

    Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson speaking to Sky Sports: "Burnley threw everything at us, they had the last 20-30 minutes of the game."

On his save: "That's my job. I was disappointed in the last game to get beaten so happy to make that save tonight. We've got a great defensive record at the moment and everyone is working hard. It's a group effort. With the games coming thick and fast, we just have to keep moving along."

  17. 'Really worrying Liverpool performance'published at 22:12 GMT 3 December 2025

    FT: Liverpool 1-1 Sunderland

    Jamie Carragher
Former Liverpool defender on Sky Sports

Worse than not picking up the three points for Liverpool is the performance. It's really, really worrying.
