  1. Another injury for Arsenalpublished at 20:15 GMT 3 December 2025

    Arsenal 1-0 Brentford

    Alex Howell
BBC Sport football reporter at Emirates Stadium

Cristhian Mosquera has to come off with an injury for Arsenal. Mikel Arteta won't believe they bad luck they are having with injuries.

That's Mosquera off injured with centre backs Saliba and Gabriel already ruled out.

Mosquera walked off and although he was limping, he didn't look in too much pain.

Arsenal fans will hope that it is not too serious.

  2. 'Might be a bit of an edge'published at 20:15 GMT 3 December 2025

    Leeds v Chelsea (20:15 GMT)

    Chris Sutton
    BBC football expert

Leeds lumped it in the second half against Manchester City and it almost got them a point.

They were lucky to still be in the game at half-time but fair play to Daniel Farke for making the substitutes and changing the system, because he has been accused of not being proactive enough during games.

As lively as Leeds were, they still ended up empty-handed, however, and it means they really need something here.

You know they will give it a go but, again, it is going to be hard for them to get anything out of a Chelsea side who are in really good form.

There might be a bit of an edge to this one, because going back to my time as a Chelsea player there was always a rivalry here.

I don't think it will be as rough and tumble as it was when these teams met in the 1970 FA Cup final, but I'm going for the same outcome, which is a Chelsea win.

    Sutton's prediction: 0-2

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:14 GMT 3 December 2025

    Arsenal 1-0 Brentford

Oh no! This is not good for Arsenal.

Cristhian Mosquera has gone down and cannot carry on.

Another injury for the leaders....and Jurrien Timber is having to come on.

  4. 'Would not surprise me to see Sunderland win'published at 20:14 GMT 3 December 2025

    Liverpool v Sunderland (20:15 GMT)

    Chris Sutton
    BBC football expert

I got Liverpool wrong at the weekend because I thought they would lose at West Ham.

Instead of Mo Salah, it was a case of 'No Salah' after he was left out for their 2-0 win. I didn't mind seeing that, because Salah is no different from any other player - if he is not performing, you drop him.

I was wrong about Sunderland too, but that won't surprise anyone.

We are at the stage where I am thinking should I do Black Cats fans a favour by tipping them to lose again here, because we know what happens when I do that - they win.

I actually think they will give a good account of themselves at Anfield and it would not surprise me at all to see them going there and winning - I really mean that, too, because we've all seen how capable Regis le Bris' side are.

I am still going to go with Liverpool though. I don't think they can be as bad as they were in their previous two home games against Nottingham Forest and PSV Eindhoven.

    Sutton's prediction: 2-1

Hopefully, this will be Farke's last game as manager. At least he has finally decided to vary his formation and tactics but it's clearly too little too late.

  6. Reasons behind Maresca's rotationpublished at 20:14 GMT 3 December 2025

    Leeds v Chelsea (20:15 GMT)

    Nizaar Kinsella
    BBC Sport Chelsea reporter

Defenders Reece James and Wesley Fofana have had to be rotated out for load management. The pair have been replaced by Benoit Badiashile and Tosin Adarabioyo.

Midfielder Moises Caicedo is suspended and replaced by like-for-like option Andrey Santos.

Pedro Neto also started all three games last week and 155 minutes across the three matches so is taken out for Jamie Gittens.

  7. Elland Road is still pretty loud despite uncertain futurepublished at 20:14 GMT 3 December 2025

    Leeds v Chelsea (20:15 GMT)

    Nizaar Kinsella
    BBC Sport Chelsea reporter

On my way into Elland Road, the first conversation I overhead between two Leeds fans was about whether this was manager Daniel Farke's last match.

Chelsea have only won six of their last 48 matches at Leeds so there is always reason for optimism as these two teams boast a rivalry harping back to the 1960s and 1970s.

The atmosphere remains pretty loud and usually is between these two.

That is why we all get so frustrated. It was so obvious but they took so long to make the decision.

    Wolves 0-0 Nottingham Forest

    Nick Mashiter
BBC Sport football news reporter at Molineux

Dan Ndoye was clearly standing in front of Sam Johnstone and in an offside position so it was the right decision - why it took so long is the question.

Jorgen Strand Larsen had a goal ruled out at Aston Villa on Sunday for exactly the same reason with Jhon Arias blocking Emi Martinez - so at least there is consistency.

The Burnley vs Crystal Palace match is the most lacking in quality I’ve seen from a PL game in some time.

  12. 'A long, long wait to decide something that is so clear'published at 20:13 GMT 3 December 2025

    Wolves 0-0 Nottingham Forest

    Lee Blakeman
Commentator on BBC Radio 5 Live at Molineux

The fans are chanting "boring, boring". It has been a long, long wait to decide something that is so clear and obvious. If you look at the offside it is clearly offside, and when you look from behind the goal, Ndoye could not be more in the line of view if he tried.

  13. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 20:13 GMT 3 December 2025

    Wolves 0-0 Nott'm Forest

The goal is chalked off. I'm not sure why that took as long as it did.

  14. 'Glorious chance for Madueke'published at 20:13 GMT 3 December 2025

    Arsenal 1-0 Brentford

    Alan Smith
Former Arsenal forward on Sky Sports

Madueke had to get it on his left to protect it but couldn't do it quickly enough.

This was a glorious chance to make it two. There has been some panicked defending but not from Rico Henry there.

'Boring' chants the Molineux crowd. It is a very long delay.

  16. Postpublished at 20:12 GMT 3 December 2025

    Arsenal 1-0 Brentford

This has been an energetic, attacking display by the leaders.

The only thing Mikel Arteta will be disappointed about is that his side is not leading by more as half-time looms.

Declan Rice, Noni Madueke and Mikel Merino have all gone close to extending the lead but there is still only one goal in it.

  17. Postpublished at 20:12 GMT 3 December 2025

    Wolves 0-1 Nott'm Forest

Dan Ndoye is very clearly offside.

But is he impeding Sam Johnstone's view? It looks like it to me.

Tim Robinson has been advised to go and have a look at the monitor.

It seems quite clear to me that the goalkeeper's view is impeded.

  19. Postpublished at 20:10 GMT 3 December 2025

    Wolves 0-1 Nott'm Forest

There's a chance this could get chalked off but Nottingham Forest be awarded a penalty.

There was a lot of pushing and shoving in the box.

  20. 'Player directly in the eyeline of Johnstone'published at 20:10 GMT 3 December 2025

    Wolves 0-1 Nottingham Forest

    Stephen Warnock
Former Liverpool and Aston Villa defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

That could be offside, one of those situations we've been looking at the last few weeks. There is a player directly in the eyeline of Johnstone and he straight away spoke to the referee and said "I can't see".
