Not more players slipping in Madrid...

    Real Madrid 0-0 Man City

Is there something in the Madrid air?

Just like last night at Atletico, players are slipping all over the place at the Bernabeu.

    Bodo/Glimt 0-0 Sporting CP

Bodo are growing into this one and looking sharper by the minute.

It’s hardly a surprise to see them so lively early on, given they returned to domestic action last week - their first competitive outing since November.

  4. Postpublished at 20:18 GMT 11 March

    Real Madrid 0-0 Man City

Jeremy Doku is bursting with energy and Manchester City's wide man is causing all sorts of problems in Spain's capital. He almost sets up a great chance but Federico Valverde is back to concede a corner.

  5. HITS THE WOODWORK - PSGpublished at 20:17 GMT 11 March

    Paris St-Germain 1-0 Chelsea

The hosts so close to a second as Ousmane Dembele shoots powerfully at goal from a tight angle, but all credit to Filip Jorgensen as he gets fingertips to the effort to push it on to the post to stop the ball ending up in the top corner.

That goes down as a brilliant save.

It's incredible to think Antoine Semenyo was playing in the sixth-tier of English football for Bath City eight years ago. Tonight, he's making his Champions League debut at the Bernabeu.

An inspiration for every non-league player out there.

  7. 'PSG look unbelievable'published at 20:15 GMT 11 March

    Paris St-Germain 1-0 Chelsea

    Stephen Warnock
Former Liverpool defender on MOTD: UEFA Champions League

Tonight could be the night where PSG turn it on. They look unbelievable.

    Paris St-Germain 1-0 Chelsea

Bradley Barcola has scored his first Champions League goal since February 2025 against Brest, ending a run of 17 appearances without scoring in the competition.

  9. Man City in positive moodpublished at 20:15 GMT 11 March

    Real Madrid 0-0 Man City

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at The Bernabeu

Manchester City are not sitting back here and have given Real Madrid some anxious moments. Jeremy Doku already looks a real threat and you get the feeling he fancies his chances against Trent Alexander-Arnold.

  10. 'Too much time in the penalty area'published at 20:14 GMT 11 March

    Paris St-Germain 1-0 Chelsea

    Glenn Hoddle
Former England and Chelsea manager on TNT Sports

They work the ball so well PSG. There was too much time in the penalty area for Barcola, there's a row of Chelsea defenders on the six-yard line.

Chelsea had to stay in there but I do think they will score tonight.

  11. Chelsea were going toe-to-toe but then punishedpublished at 20:13 GMT 11 March

    Paris St-Germain 1-0 Chelsea

    Nizaar Kinsella
    BBC Sport Chelsea reporter

Chelsea had been giving PSG as much as they got but ultimately got opened up by a brilliant move for Bradley Barcola's opening goal.

The Blues have come here to play their football, are using a high defensive line and press but the European champions draw first blood.

  12. City fans on their feetpublished at 20:13 GMT 11 March

    Real Madrid 0-0 Man City

    Elizabeth Conway
    BBC Sport Spanish football reporter

They might be totally outnumbered here at the Bernabeu but you can still hear 'City, City, the best team in the land in all the world' ringing out amongst the travelling fans.

They're trying to give the Madrid ultras a run for their money!

  13. Chelsea don't get away with it this timepublished at 20:13 GMT 11 March

    Paris St-Germain 1-0 Chelsea

    Stephen Warnock
Former Liverpool defender on MOTD: UEFA Champions League

The goal was the second time in a row where PSG were able to get a second phase ball from a knockdown in the box. Chelsea got away with it the first time, but not this one.

You can hear more from Warnock on MOTD: Uefa Champions League at 22:40 GMT on BBC One and the BBC Sport website and app.

  14. Postpublished at 20:13 GMT 11 March

    Real Madrid 0-0 Man City

I'm not sure how many Manchester City fans have made it into the Bernabeu but they are making themselves heard.

They've seen their side make a bright opening but will they make it count?

The hosts take the lead and it is a lovely strike.

Ousmane Dembele hangs up a cross from the right, Joao Neves heads it down into the danger area and Bradley Barcola has enough space in the penalty area to take a touch and then fire his effort in off the underside of the crossbar.

City have a good chance to win after all they have done in the Premier League already. Their play has definitely improved from a few months ago when they were struggling and this is a great chance to take advantage and win.

    This is so open!

After Jeremy Doku fizzes a pass across the six-yard area, Real Madrid attack in numbers and Brahim Díaz, who is facing his former club, forces a good save from Gianluigi Donnarumma.

It's goalless for now, but for how much longer?

    Bodo/Glimt 0-0 Sporting CP

The home side race up the other end and fire just wide through Jens Petter Hauge after a slick cut-back from Hakon Evjen.

Fast start to this one. Both sides are really going for it.

  19. 'City will be confident tonight'published at 20:09 GMT 11 March

    Paul Robinson
Former Leeds goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live at Estadio Bernabeu

Some early opportunities here and Man City are showing their threat on the counter attack.

Doku, Haaland and Savinho attack quickly - good quick play from the visiting side. They will be confident tonight.

Lovely defending by Trent Aexander-Arnold to deny Erling Haaland a chance before the first shot in anger.

It comes from Antoine Semenyo, who is making his Champions League debut. It's straight at Thibaut Courtois.

    Manchester City have settled quickly.
