The Manchester City defender slipped and that allowed Kukonki to just nod into the bottom corner.

Sensational free-kick from Floyd Samba, into the top corner and the United goalkeeper had no chance.

Dad Chris will be very proud of that effort.

I have to say he's trying to make the most of it. There's a little bit of arm there but that's not a penalty for me. You have to say well done to the referee - a bit of consistency, which we always want.

    Man City 0-0 Man Utd

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport Manchester United reporter

Jim Thwaites and Rafe McCormack need to get greater control in midfield for Manchester United.

Manchester City are starting to play the game higher up the pitch and United need to push them back.

Thwaites is better on the ball than he has shown so far.

  7. YELLOW CARDpublished at 19:39 BST 14 May

    Man City 0-0 Man Utd

JJ Gabriel twists and turns in the box and goes down in the penalty box looking for a penalty but again the referee is having none of it.

Claims at both ends but we remain level.

Gabriel is also booked for diving.

It's an extremely important block. When it comes back to him, I'm just wondering if he's trying to show the goalkeeper the eyes.

Manchester United get forward and Chido Obi tries to slot into the bottom corner but there's a big block in there from the City defender.

When I saw it live I thought straight away 'please don't give a penalty'. He's looking for it. For me, it's the correct decision, well done.

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 19:35 BST 14 May

    Man City 0-0 Man Utd

Manchester City are absolutely adament that they should have a penalty.

Noah Ajayi is arriving behind Dante Headley in the box and Headley goes down claiming for a penalty but it's the City man who goes into the box for diving.

The free-kick pretty much misses everyone.

Lacking that bit of clinical edge in the final third so far.

Manchester City win a free-kick wide on the right-hand side.

Can they make something of this?

  14. Postpublished at 19:31 BST 14 May

It's not been a thriller so far, this.

That big opportunity for Manchester City a few moments ago is the best chance of the game as yet.

There appears to be huge interest in this game, it just needs a goal.

Brilliant save. When you've scored the amount of goals he's scored this season you just think 'goal' again.

But it's a brilliant save, you have to say. He moves his feet really well.

  18. What a save!published at 19:26 BST 14 May

    Shamoon Hafez
BBC Sport football reporter at Joie Stadium

Wow, that is an incredible reflex save from Cameron Bryne-Hughes, sharply down to his right.

The first shot on target from Teddie Lamb and he would have thought it was in.

  19. GREAT SAVE!published at 19:26 BST 14 May

    Man City 0-0 Man Utd

Reigan Heskey is clipped by Yuel Helafu and that earns Manchester City a free-kick.

It's a good delivery but a brilliant save from Cameron Byrne-Hughes prevents Teddie Lamb from stabbing home.

  20. Man Utd need to get JJ Gabriel on the ball morepublished at 19:24 BST 14 May

    Man City 0-0 Man Utd

    Simon Stone

JJ Gabriel is taking up good positions on the edge of the area but first Noah Ajayi, then Chido Obi just now have opted to take a different option.

Manchester United need to get Gabriel on the ball more in those dangerous areas.
