    Coventry 0-0 Oxford

Coventry's charge for promotion has certainly dropped off but their home form remains very strong.

Nobody has won more points in front of their own fans in the Championship than the Sky Blues this season, while Oxford have won just three games away from home.

Going well for Leicester isn't it?

A goal down and now debutant Joe Aribo is cautioned by referee John Busby for a foul.

    Hull 0-0 Bristol City

Will Bristol City and Emil Riis be left to rue this opportunity?

The Robins striker breaks through behind the Tigers' defence but only a few yards out his final shot is weak, with the side of his foot and in the end it's a relatively simple save for Ivor Pandur.

Best chance of the opening minutes by far.

    Preston 0-0 Portsmouth

A good start from Portsmouth with Jacob Brown, Zak Swanson and Adrian Segecic all having shots blocked.

Only Sheffield Wednesday have fewer than Portsmouth's two away wins this season in the Championship.

We have the first shot and the first save of the game as Wrexham's Kieffer Moore strikes with his left foot from the middle of the box and Max Crocombe has a comfortable save for Millwall.

Barry Bannan has already played at Stok Cae Ras this season with Sheffield Wednesday.

The 36-year-old is making his first league start for Millwall this afternoon and will have fond memories of this ground having scored here for the Owls as he inspired an impressive comeback that saw the visitors draw 2-2 having been 2-0 behind in the opening month of the campaign.

    It's the worst possible start.

I think Leicester thought Birmingham would sit in their shape for a bit but it's been a very slow start.

They'll have to fight their way back into the game.

The best way their going to do this is if they stick together and that's what you see what this group is really made of.

    Hull 0-0 Bristol City

Bristol City have thrown new signing Tomi Horvat straight in to start this afternoon, with another new name Noah Eile on the bench.

But they have been dealt a blow, with head coach Gerhard Struber confirming captain Jason Knight injured his ankle in training yesterday and as such misses out today and possibly for another few matches.

  12. Coventry braces for vital clashpublished at 15:02 GMT 7 February

    Coventry 0-0 Oxford

    Adam Whitty
    BBC Final Score

I was at Oxford, ironically, when they drew with Middlesbrough on Boxing Day to give Coventry an eight-point lead at the top of the table. At that point, I remember thinking the title, and promotion, for the Sky Blues, was done and dusted.

But they’ve managed 15 points in their last 12 games, with five defeats, and now Middlesbrough have caught them, with Ipswich and Hull City breathing down their necks.

Frank Lampard says they’re in a “difficult moment”. You don’t say. Five changes and a rearranged front three tells you all you need to know.

It feels nervy and anxious at the CBS Arena today, fans fear a defeat or draw against lowly Oxford would signal a proper collapse. Victory, they might be able to get themselves back on track.

Oxford, meanwhile, need a win desperately too. Without results soon, they will be cut adrift in the relegation zone. Matt Bloomfield has named five January signings in his starting 11 today.

When Wrexham beat Millwall 2-0 back in August chances are not many people had them down as likely play-off contenders by this stage of the season along with the Lions.

But here we are, as fifth take on sixth, with the Red Dragons only three points behind visiting Millwall today and able to leapfrog them in the table with a win.

Wrexham have been ticking up the table well and have lost just two in their past 10 (winning eight), and have added more reinforcements with three signings in the final 24 hours of deadline day.

Millwall have picked up 15 points across their past 10 games in comparison, but 11 of those have come in the past six although their away form could be the Achilles heel today - Alex Neil's side have only one once in their past five games away from home.

It's sixth v fifth in the Championship this afternoon, and Wrexham have rolled out one of their big guns for what promises to be a huge occasion.

Co-owner Ryan Reynolds is in attendance, and the last time he was here, almost exactly a month ago, Phil Parkinson's men beat Nottingham Forest on penalties in the third round of the FA Cup.

He'll be hoping for less drama, but the same outcome today, no doubt.

When it rains it pours… that will be the sentiment at Leicester at the moment. Have they brought those clouds with them today? It's lashing down!

Fans are glad the points deduction saga has come to an end and hope the new signings, two of which start - Jamal Lascelles and Joe Aribo - will galvanise the team.

Carlos Vicente makes his first start for Blues since joining from Alaves for £7m, with Birmingham favourites to bring a 10-match winless run against the Foxes to an end.

When Ipswich didn't sign a center forward this window I was disappointed. However it looks like we could throw Davis up front to nod a few in for us! What a header son!

Big win on the road at Derby, Davis's header an absolute beauty! Massive three points away, keeps the pressure up on Hull, Coventry and Boro. FA cup on Friday vs Wrexham, hope we get a good result there too. Uppa Towen!

Hull City v Bristol City (15:01 GMT)

Hull City are very much in the automatic promotion picture and they will be looking to extend an unbeaten run that stands at six games in all competitions.

They face a Bristol City side who have fallen away from the top six after an inconsistent run recently. The Robins lost Anis Mehmehti and Zak Vyner in the January window and those departures have weakened Gerhard Struber's side. The gap to the top six for Bristol City is only four points but they have to start winning soon.

To be fair Hull City may provide ideal opposition - the Robins have already beaten them in the reverse fixture back in August. They are also unbeaten in their last six league meetings against the East Yorkshire outfit.

Despite those positive stats this Hull City side is very different and does seem to have the same hallmarks as the one that famously got promoted to the Premier League with Phil Brown. They have a real blend of youth and experience and with the likes of Oli McBurnie and John Egan, they have proven Championship promotion specialists.

The headlines at the top of the table may be focussed on Coventry, Middlesbrough and Ipswich but beware the Tigers who are certainly roaring at the right time and are very much hunting down the top two places.
