Tomi Horvat looking like the bargain of the transfer window so far. No wonder we brought him in half a season earlier than planned.

    Matt, Bristol

I'm actually hyper-ventilating, Robins are on fire, new lad Horvat having a fabulous start and Borges all over it - quite some half ... Top level excitement.

    Championship table

Coventry are on course to end the day a point clear at the top but they'll hope to make that three with a win against Oxford.

At the bottom, West Brom are going to edge out of the relegation zone if they can hold out for a point against Stoke.

Preston could apply some pressure to the top six if they can stay in the lead against Portsmouth.

  7. 'At the minute it's not happening' - Danielspublished at 16:01 GMT 7 February

    FT: Southampton 1-0 Watford

    Watford

Watford interim boss Charlie Daniels speaking to BBC 3CR:

"I'm disapointed with the result, the performance was good in the first half but levels did drop off towards the end of the second.

"I thought we created a good number of chances but didn't work the goalkeeper as much as we would have liked.

"We were forced to make a change before the goal as Stephen [Mfuni] was injured so rather than being a man down we made the change.

"Stephen said to us five minutes before he was struggling and had an issue with his calf, the group have had to do a lot of adapting with us this week and two trips away have not helped.

"This is how the Championship is, little moments make a big difference and if we want to be in contention for the play-offs we have to take our moments.

"At the minute it is not happening but that starts on the training pitch."

  8. 'Great to have win' with first goal - Larinpublished at 15:59 GMT 7 February

    FT: Southampton 1-0 Watford

    Southampton

Southampton striker Cyle Larin told BBC Radio Solent:

"It's a great feeling to score my first goal but it's also great to have a win with that.

"You have to cherish these moments, since I came to Southampton the staff and players have been very welcoming which has made it easier for me.

"When you feel good it translates onto the pich, I've been a lot of places in my career and I think my experience helps me to adapt really quickly, I gel really well with the group.

"We should be higher in the table but that's football, if you go on a run in this league then that can change."

  9. 'It'll be a real tough second half for us'published at 15:57 GMT 7 February

    HT: Birmingham 1-1 Leicester

    Michael Morrison
Former Leicester and Birmingham defender on BBC Radio Leicester

I think a really slow start from Leicester, it took them a while after conceding a goal to be on a level playing field.

The sending off really changes the dynamic and will put so much more defensive reliability on Leicester.

I think it was a lapse of concentration from Ricardo for the goal, Fatawu's finish got them back into it before the red card.

It'll be a real tough second half for us now.

  11. Finely poisedpublished at 15:53 GMT 7 February

    HT Wrexham 0-0 Millwall

    Ian Mitchelmore
BBC Sport Wales at Stok Cae Ras, Wrexham

There really isn't much in this contest.

Wrexham started and ended the half well and have looked the likelier to open the scoring, although this one remains finely balanced going into the second half.

One goal could could settle it, for sure.

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:52 GMT 7 February

    West Brom 0-0 Stoke

VERY cagey opening first few minutes of this game but a bit better since.

West Brom desperately need a win to climb out of the bottom three, while the Potters need the points to breathe life into their flagging play-off push.

Famous last words but I expect this to open up more in the second half.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:51 GMT 7 February

    Wrexham 0-0 Millwall

The clash between two sides right in the play-off hunt hasn't quite got going yet.

Millwall haven't had a shot on target at all and are really struggling to get much past Wrexham.

  14. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:50 GMT 7 February

    Birmingham 1-1 Leicester

Someone stop the ride, Leicester want to get off...probably for the rest of the season.

In a week in which they've had six points deducted and still with an interim boss they have done their best to hand the points to Birmingham.

Poor defending allowed Ibrahim Osman to score his first Blues goal but gives the Foxes credit as they did fight back thanks to a fine Abdul Fatawu strike.

But the visitors have imploded with Phil Neumann having a goal disallowed, Asmir Begovic superbly denying Carlos Vicente before Bobby De Cordova-Reid hacked down Osman to receive his marching orders.

Birmingham have won 28 of their past 39 home games - difficult to not see them making it 29.

  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:50 GMT 7 February

    Preston 1-0 Portsmouth

Alfie Devine's excellent header five minutes before the break gives Preston a lead at the break.

Andre Dozzell was inches away from levelling for Portsmouth within two minutes of going behind while Ebou Adams has forced a save out of David Cornell.

Not the best spectacle but home fans won't care.

  16. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:50 GMT 7 February

HT: Hull City 1-2 Bristol City

Huge response from Bristol City and they go in with a lead after an entertaining opening 45.

Oli McBurnie had given the hosts the lead midway through the first half but two goals in six minutes - from Rob Atkinson and Ross McCrorie - have turned the game on its head at the break.

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 GMT 7 February

    Coventry 0-0 Oxford

The table toppers have had most of the ball and most of the shots but they have no goals.

Relegation-threatened Oxford have had their moments and, with 45 minutes to play, they're right in this match against the wobbling Sky Blues.
