    Rangers 1-0 Montrose

Decent chance for Rangers as Brogan Hay gets the ball in space on the right of the box.

She skips by one challenge and tries to curl into the far corner, but it's well wide. There was a decent crossing opportunity, if she'd gone first time.

  2. YELLOW CARD Martin (Montrose)published at 56'

    Rangers 1-0 Montrose

The Glasgow City loanee is into the book. She lunged at Kim Shin-Ji and then shoved May Cruft off the ball, right under the nose of the referee.

The pressure was cranking up there, and who else but Katie Wilkinson?

That's what she was brought on to do.

It's been coming. It was the first time in the game that Rangers had put together consecutive attacks.

  4. goal

GOAL RANGERS 1-0 Montrosepublished at 51'

    Katie Wilkinson

    The deadlock is finally broken.

Jodi McLeary crosses into the mix, and Wilkinson nods through the bodies to put Rangers ahead.

The camera pans to Leanne Crichton, but there's no smiles just yet.

  5. Postpublished at 50'

    Rangers 0-0 Montrose

Rangers float another ball into the back post. Leah Eddie gets her head to it and Georgia Carter throws a hip at it, with the ball glancing a yard wide.

Calliste Brookshire swings the corner deep to the back post and Kathy Hill gets to it, but Lauren Perry turns it behind.

    Another corner.

  6. Postpublished at 49'

    Rangers 0-0 Montrose

A heart-in-mouth moment as Lauren Perry spills the ball almost straight to Katie Wilkinson, but Montrose are able to scramble the ball clear.

The Northern Ireland international hasn't had a lot to do so far.

I'm not surprised Leanne Crichton has made changes.

From a Montrose point of view, although you don't want to see these three players, it's a compliment. They've forced Rangers' hand.

  8. KICK-OFFpublished at 46'

    Rangers 0-0 Montrose

Just the 38 goals this season for Katie Wilkinson. Not a bad player to bring off the bench, eh?

The trio are on for Quinty Sabajo, who had been booked, as well as Jess Pegram and Mia McAulay.

And that's us back under way at Hampden Park.

  9. Rangers make triple changepublished at 14:31 BST 3 May

    HT: Rangers 0-0 Montrose

No surprise to see Katie Wilkinson getting put through her paces before the second half.

She's one of three incoming Rangers changes. The birthday girl Kim Shin-Ji is also coming on, as well as defender Leah Eddie.

  10. Should Sabajo be off?published at 14:28 BST 3 May

    HT: Rangers 0-0 Montrose

The big talking point from the first-half was that second challenge from Rangers midfielder Quinty Sabajo.

Should the Dutch midfielder have been sent off for a second yellow card after she lunged in on Louise Brown?

Thumbs up for yes, thumbs down for no.

I am excited as a fan, and the reason why is you want to see the underdogs put in a shift and that's what Montrose have done.

Rangers need to gear up and find another level to make more chances.

The second half is a clean slate, so who will make the tactical changes? Right now, it will just take moment.

I'm interested to see what changes are made to swing momentum.

  12. 'Really impressive' Montrosepublished at 14:22 BST 3 May

    HT: Rangers 0-0 Montrose

    Joelle Murray
Hibernian head coach and former Scotland defender on BBC One Scotland

It's been excellent from Montrose. We saw quite quickly they were going player-for-player, which we thought might cause them problems.

In actual fact, it's worked in their favour. Out of possession, they've been really disciplined and really compact. They've been able to play on the counter, they've had a lot of final third entries.

It's just about bettering the final execution. But it's been a really impressive first half for Montrose.

  13. HALF-TIME Rangers 0-0 Montrosepublished at 14:18 BST 3 May

Well, no drama in the first half but a whole lot of heart from Montrose.

They have continually frustrated Rangers, getting at them and not allowing the Cup holders to play at all.

There's not been too many clear-cut chances, but that tells you just how well Craig Feroz's side are playing.

    Reaction on the way.

    Rangers 0-0 Montrose

Rangers win a corner as May Cruft's speculative shot deflects a yard or two wide.

They've not had many set-piece opportunities so far. They play this one short... and it's eventually cleared by Montrose.

Rangers look a little devoid of ideas here.

    Rangers 0-0 Montrose

Montrose really are frustrating Rangers here.

Plenty would have expected Leanne Crichton's side to be well ahead, but at times they've been well pinned back by the underdogs.

Can Craig Feroz's side keep this up?

    Cara Henderson
Partick Thistle forward on BBC One Scotland

She needs to be careful, it's the last thing Leanne Crichton and Rangers will want at this stage of the match.

She's lucky she doesn't make any contact. It's an interesting tackle to make when you're already on a yellow.

  19. YELLOW CARD Sabajo (Rangers)published at 22'

    Rangers 0-0 Montrose

    Quinty Sabajo is lucky.

She went into the book moments after Montrose's Neve Guthrie, for a challenge on Kaela McDonald-Nguah that looked a little high.

Now, she lunges at Louise Brown but gets away with it. Very fortunate.

  20. YELLOW CARD Guthrie (Montrose)published at 17'

    Rangers 0-0 Montrose

Neve Guthrie is into the book for a second late tackle in a matter of minutes.

She caught Nicola Docherty a moment ago, and this time she leaves one on on Jodi McLeary in midfield.

A long tightrope to walk for the Mo' striker.
