Just a reminder, the drama doesn't end at Brunton Park today.

We'll be bringing you all the action from the Crown Oil Arena as Rochdale seek to bounce back from their dramatic final day clash with York as they host Scunthorpe in the other semi-final.

Coverage of that game will continue on this page right after the conclusion of Carlisle v Boreham Wood, so don't go anywhere...

    HT: Carlisle 1-1 Boreham Wood

    Paul Huntington
Former Carlisle captain on BBC Radio Cumbria

It has been much better for Carlisle since the goal, it was a really key time to score.

We had been passive and second best until that point but the goal will give us belief in the second half.

  3. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:19 BST 3 May

    Carlisle 1-1 Boreham Wood

    A half of two halves.

Boreham Wood were by far the better team in the opening half-hour and Abdul Abdulmalik, the standout player on the pitch, broke the deadlock with a low strike from 20 yards which crept through the grasp of Gabe Breeze.

However, as Carlisle grew in stature skipper Morgan Feeney turned the tide with an angled finish on a rare burst into the area to set the second half of this game up perfectly...

We're into TWO added minutes at the end of a first half which has really come alive. Shame it's not more...

  5. CLOSE!published at 45 mins

    Carlisle 1-1 Boreham Wood

Regan Linney has switched to the right and takes aim as United try to complete a quick turnaround but Chris Bush gets in a block at the expense of a corner.

Callum Whelan's cross is cleared but Linney gets to the loose ball just outside the area to take a touch and lash a dipping volley inches past the far top corner with Ted Curd a mere spectator.

  6. CLOSE!published at 44 mins

    Carlisle 1-1 Boreham Wood

James Clarke is the man in space after Abdul Abdulmalik and Matt Rush produce a neat move across the Blues area but his angled finish from the right lacks composure and flashes high and wide of Gabe Breeze's goal.

Play-off games can make legends of players and if Carlisle win this game, Morgan Feeney can add his name to that list.

The captain takes things in his own hands, stepping up with the ball, playing one-twos and producing the finish through the goalkeeper's legs.

He then rallies the crowd before gathering his team-mates in a huddle to talk tactics.

Leading by actions and words. Great stuff.

    Carlisle 1-1 Boreham Wood

It's all Carlisle now as David Ajiboye has a 20-yard drive charged down and it's blue shirts pouncing on every loose ball and trying to get it towards the Wood goal.

  9. 'I did not see that coming'published at 13:14 BST 3 May

What a finish that was from Feeney. We have been second best for large parts in this game but he has caught out Curd in goal.

The captain has stepped up in a big moment but I did not see it coming.

    Morgan Feeney

    Game ON!

Skipper Morgan Feeney decides to take the game into his own hands and the defender pops up on the edge of the Wood box.

He plays it to David Ajiboye and then continues his run in behind, collecting the return pass on the right of the box and takes a touch to steady himself before firing in an angled low shot which beats Ted Curd at his near post.

Brunton Park is alive once again.

    Carlisle 0-1 Boreham Wood

Much better from Carlisle as David Ajiboye strides forward and slides a low ball across the edge of the box.

Regan Linney dummies it allowing the hosts to curl in a shot but it's straight down the throat of Ted Curd in the Wood goal.

  12. 'Carlisle looking laboured'published at 13:09 BST 3 May

    Carlisle 0-1 Boreham Wood

    Paul Huntington
Former Carlisle captain on BBC Radio Cumbria

Boreham Wood are definitely confident on the ball and are frustrating Carlisle at the moment.

The Carlisle press is looking incredibly laboured.

We are a much better team when we are on the front foot, it is defensive first football.

We have got to hang on until half-time.

  13. YELLOW CARDpublished at 37 mins

    Carlisle 0-1 Boreham Wood

Ryan Galvin becomes the first player in the book for a late lunge on Matt Rush over a loose ball in the Blues half.

Chance of an attacking set-piece for the visitors too... they take it short and work it into the box and Abdul Abdulmalik almost has a second with a low, angled strike which is parried away by Gabe Breeze, with his defence completing the clearance.

  14. Postpublished at 35 mins

    Carlisle 0-1 Boreham Wood

Carlisle just a little short on ideas at present.

Regan Linney drives forward from midfield after an Abdul Abdulmalik pass is intercepted near the Blues box, but he doesn't have an angle for a shot and no real options for attacking passes, and when he sends it wide to David Ajiboye on the right the move breaks down.

    Carlisle 0-1 Boreham Wood

    James Phillips
    BBC Radio Cumbria Sport commentator

Carlisle are in real danger at the minute.

Boreham Wood are looking better in every department at the moment.

They said the other day that they did have a plan to stop Carlisle and they are showing that to be true.

    Carlisle 0-1 Boreham Wood

That goal has just raised the temperature at Brunton Park a few degrees.

The challenges are getting a little heavier and the home players are clearly not on the same wavelength and are pointing and directing others to where they think they should be.

Wood break again down the left but a cross flashes across goal without a touch.

  18. Abdulmalik the stand-out playerpublished at 13:04 BST 3 May

    Carlisle 0-1 Boreham Wood

    Adam Lanigan
BBC Sport reporter at Brunton Park

Abdul Abdulmalik has been the stand-out player in the first half and he now has a goal to show for his threat.

Carlisle were too slow to get out to him from the corner, while goalkeeper Gabe Breeze will know he should have done better.

It's a fair reflection on how the game has gone.

  19. 'Carlisle should have done better'published at 13:01 BST 3 May

    Carlisle 0-1 Boreham Wood

    Paul Huntington
Former Carlisle captain on BBC Radio Cumbria

It did take a deflection on it's way in, but Carlisle should have done so much better. Breeze will feel he should have got more on that for sure. You can tell he is disappointed, with his hands on his knees.

The Carlisle reaction is very important now.

  20. goal

GOAL: Carlisle 0-1 Boreham Woodpublished at 28 mins

    Abdul Abdulmalik

A NIGHTMARE for keeper Gabe Breeze.

The corner is taken short and played to Abdul Abdulmalik just outside the box.

He fires in a rather tame, low shot through a crowd with his left foot but Breeze goes down to his right in instalments and though he gets a hand to the ball, can't prevent it trickling over the line into the corner.

Wood have a sixth goal of the season against Carlisle in 208 minutes.
