  1. Odds stacked against Livingstonpublished at 14:58 GMT 22 February

It's been 198 days since Livingston last won a competitive match and their task to end that horrendous run is against a Rangers team who have suffered only two league defeats this season.

Some strange results can take place as we approach the business end of the campaign but it would be a huge upset if the home side can find a way to win.

Rangers want to end the day two points behind Hearts and Danny Rohl will be desperate to avoid a slip up on the West Lothian plastic.

  2. Could Hibs prosper in midfield?published at 14:56 GMT 22 February

    Celtic v Hibernian (15:00)

    Kheredine Idessane

Looking at that Celtic team, I am wondering how well-balanced the midfield is? Could Hibs out-muscle their hosts in the middle of the park?

Assuming that Hyun-jun Yang and Sebastian Toukekti hug the touchlines, with Tomas Cvancara through the middle it means the nominal midfield three would be Callum McGregor, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and the league's second top scorer Benjamin Nygren.

The latter two like to get forward so look out for McGregor having to cope with a potential Hibs overload against Miguel Chaiwa, Jamie McGrath and Dan Barlaser.

  3. Gray seeks 'complete performance' from Hibspublished at 14:50 GMT 22 February

    Celtic v Hibernian (15:00)

Hibs head coach David Gray tells BBC Scotland: "It's all about our level of performance, we need to be at our very best, a complete performance, to come here and win.

"It's been a very long time since a Hibs team came here and won, which tells you the challenge we face. Celtic are going for a title for a reason, they are at the top end for a reason.

"We're looking to build on a good result last week. All we can do is concentrate on ourselves. That's something we've done for a long time now.

"At this moment we're eight points [behind Motherwell]. If we win today we go to five and there's a lot of football to be played, still to play Motherwell twice for example."

  4. 'Stranger things have happened' - Bartleypublished at 14:48 GMT 22 February

    Livingston v Rangers (15:00)

Livingston manager Marvin Bartley tells BBC Scotland: "I was pleased with the performance at Dundee. The first five minutes we were 2-0 down but the bounce back the players showed when dealing with that adversity was fantastic.

"The boys who are starting today deserve to start because of the way they played at Dundee and how they trained through the week.

"It's about implementing our game plan. They've only lost two games this season, but we have to worry about ourselves. We've only won one game all season, we understand that and the position we're in.

"Strangers things have happened. As long as we go out and give 100%, that's all I can ask of my players."

    Livingston v Rangers (15:00)

Rangers have beaten Livingston twice this season, with both games finishing 2-1, although neither could be described as convincing.

Max Aarons knocked in a last-gasp goal for the only league win of Russell Martin's short and miserable reign.

At Ibrox in November, Tete Yengi missed a golden chance after scoring and the visitors were denied the stonewaller of all stonewaller penalties.

    Celtic v Hibernian (15:00)

Hibs held out for a 0-0 at Celtic Park in late September and were a shade unlucky to lose 2-1 to the champions at Easter Road in November.

However, it was January 2010 when the Edinburgh side last celebrated an away victory against Celtic.

In that run of 23 games, the hosts have won 18.

  8. 'No question' Rangers will win if they bring 'quality' - Rohlpublished at 14:36 GMT 22 February

    Livingston v Rangers (15:00)

Rangers head coach Danny Rohl tells BBC Scotland: "Dujon [Sterling] has a small injury and Ryan [Naderi] couldn't train during the week. With Bojan [Miovski] and him that's two centre-forwards on the bench.

"[Djeidi] Gassama made a good impact against Hearts and it gives Mikey [Moore] a little more freedom today.

"If we do not play to a high level, it will be difficult against an opponent who has nothing to lose. They are an underdog and they will make our life as hard as they can.

"We have to move the ball quick, be well organised in all the phases. We have to dictate the rhythm, to prepare our next action. They will wait for counter attacks and set plays. We have to be ready for this.

"If we bring our quality that I saw last week, then there is no question that we win this game."

  9. Schmeichel confident, reveals O'Neillpublished at 14:33 GMT 22 February

    Celtic v Hibernian (15:00)

On starting goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, Celtic boss Martin O'Neill tells BBC Scotland: "He's made a lot of big saves for us during my time. There's a lot of noise like everything else, let's see how it goes.

"He's confident, he's nearly the same age as me, so he should be able to deal with these things. He's a big lad, I hope he will be able to deal with it. He's had moments like this before, like all goalkeepers go through.

"It's a big game for us today. I don't think it was a 4-1 game [on Thursday]. Back to domestic issues today, let's go for it.

"We've been crying out for some sort of unity. It would be lovely to come in here and find out all the fans are actually with the team between now and the end of the season. Let's deal with today.

"I'm hoping [Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain] can play up to the standard he's set. He's a very talented footballer. He might not last the match, but let's see how he goes."

    Livingston v Rangers (15:00)

Livingston have managed one win all season... That came on the second weekend.

The sorry sequence without victory stands at 25 games but they haven't thrown the towel in yet.

Celtic needed a stoppage-time goal to beat them in Glasgow, while Marvin Bartley's team hit back from 2-0 down at Dundee for a draw last weekend.

  11. Postpublished at 14:27 GMT 22 February

    Celtic v Hibernian (15:00)

Hibs have been solid at home this season but 16 points from 13 games on the road has let them down.

A shock Scottish Cup defeat to Dunfermline in January was a real gut punch for David Gray's side.

Catching in-form Motherwell looks a tall order, so it's all about hanging on to fifth place, which is a bit ho-hum.

    Livingston v Rangers (15:00)

Youssef Chermiti must be feeling good after last week's exploits.

After a double at Celtic Park, a consolation at Tynecastle and last week's treble, he's got six against Rangers' title rivals but only one other goal since his big money summer move.

It's a more than handy habit but he really needs to start banging them in on a more consistent basis.

Martin O'Neill had a big decision to make.

The question is how Kasper Schmeichel will handle today. I hope the fans give him a break.

There is an issue with Kasper - he needs to go back to basics. For me, his feet are too far apart and he can't get his body in the right position.

    That's a technical issue.

    Celtic v Hibernian (15:00)

Celtic delivered a rather low energy display against Stuttgart on Thursday.

Former manager and captain Neil Lennon was on TV pundit duty, saying he was "shocked by the lack of passion".

It was Martin O'Neill's first defeat at Celtic Park since losing out to Hibs in April 2005 and the veteran manager will be demanding a response.

    Livingston v Rangers (15:00)

Rangers threw down a large gauntlet last Sunday with a stirring win over Hearts.

Youssef Chermiti hit a hat-trick as the Ibrox side twice came from behind to beat the league leaders 4-2.

There's a huge double-header with Celtic coming up, but they can't take their eye of the ball today in this nip and tuck title tussle.

  16. Rangers on a roll with Rohlpublished at 14:13 GMT 22 February

    Livingston v Rangers (15:00)

Rangers have won 14 of their 19 league league games since Danny Rohl replaced Russell Martin, losing just one.

In that time, Rangers have picked up 46 points, with Hearts on 38 and Celtic on 37.

  17. Unchanged Livi welcome back Noublepublished at 14:09 GMT 22 February

    Livingston v Rangers (15:00)

Livingston are unchanged from last week, when they drew 2-2 with Dundee after going two goals behind in the opening five minutes.

However, there are two potential debutants on the bench... Sort of.

Joel Nouble, back at the club after a spell in China, is named among the subs, as is former Rangers winger Barrie McKay.

The 31-year-old has been without a club since leaving Hearts last summer.
