Things are starting to open up a little more in this one, but it's still a game of little quality in the final third.
Nikita Parris has provided London City's first effort on target but it didn't trouble Janina Leitzig.
West Ham 0-0 Liverpool
Golden opportunity for West Ham as Verena Hanshaw picks out Riko Ueki at the back post. She gets a firm header on it but directs it straight at Liverpool keeper Faye Kirby.

We could see she was offside but I'm shaking my head at Sabrina D'Angelo. She basically passed the ball to Bunny Shaw and you can't do that at this level.

Bunny Shaw is denied the opening goal of the game by a superb springing save from Sabrina D'Angelo.
The Jamaican could hardly have placed it closer to the top corner but the Villa stopper somehow managed to tip it over the angle of post and bar.
The flag then goes up anyway.

Ellie Carpenter sends a cross towards the back post, which is met by Sandy Baltimore. She takes one touch and unleashes a rocket towards the top corner. Baggaley tips it over.

Immediately after that stoppage 10-player Liverpool make two changes.
Kirsty MacLean and Lucy Parry are off, Gemma Evans and Hannah Silcock are on.

Liverpool keeper Faye Kirby has now gone down and requested treatment from the physios.
The cynic in me says that this is a tactical stoppage so boss Gareth Taylor can get some advice onto the pitch.

It's been 18 minutes since either side had a shot at goal in this game.
Quiet indeed.

That is a crucial stop from Elene Lete. Hannah Cain latches onto a dinked ball over the top and surges into the London City box.
She tries to beat the visitors' keeper at her near post but Lete reacts well to get in the way and send it behind for a corner.
A Leicester player snatches at the delivery from the set piece but London City manage to clear.
West Ham 0-0 Liverpool
Viviane Asseyi attempts an ambitious direct hit on goal from the free kick around 30 yards out and it loops harmlessly over the top and behind.

Nightmare for Liverpool as centre half Gemma Bonner is shown a straight red for scything down Riko Ueki as she was running through on goal.
Jenna Clark was running on the cover but referee Abigail Byrne gives Bonner her marching orders anyway.

Keira Walsh picks up the ball on the edge of the box following a clever corner.
It's a great strike which is unleashed towards the near post, but it cannons back off the frame of the goal.

Oooooh.
That's probably the closest Chelsea have come.
Lauren James' stop-start run beats her marker and she is able to send a low delivery across the face of goal, but Aggie Beever-Jones isn't able to stretch to meet it.
West Ham 0-0 Liverpool
The hosts continue to dominate in Dagenham, though their chance creation has somewhat stalled.
Liverpool are growing into it now after that early onslaught.

London City are trying to shift the ball quickly to find a way through Leicester but they haven't managed to find anything that has worked yet.
It's been similar for Leicester too, to be fair. Just the one shot - a difficult header from Asmita Ale which didn't hit the target - so far.

Most underwhelming team has to be Arsenal. Spent a lot of money in the summer and yet still not really challenging for the title.

Lauren Hemp pops up on the right, exchanging passes with Kerstin Casparij before delivering a low cross towards the feet of top scorer Bunny Shaw.
The City number nine is well marshalled though and can't get to it before Anna Patten thumps clear.
Brighton 0-0 Chelsea
Chelsea keep trying to beat Brighton on the wings. Lucy Bronze picks up the ball in the middle and immediately looks to turn and try to work it towards Ellie Carpenter.
Soon after, a low ball is drilled towards Aggie Beever-Jones in the six-yard box but she can't reach it.
