Fair play to the Kilmarnock fans. They've filled up the away end almost completely, hoping that today is the day their near 3-month wait for a win ends.

With the painful exception of the last one, they also don't mind trips to Paisley - if St Mirren win today, it would be their first back to back home wins over Killie in 15 years.

Dundee are in desperate need of a win to try and keep in touch with the teams above them, rather than being cut-off at the foot with Livingston and Kilmarnock - who come here on Tuesday.

Two weekends ago I watched them chuck away a two-goal half-time lead at Livi, but Steven Pressley insists his players are in "a good frame of mind".

The Dark Blues have only taken four points from a possible 27 since beating Celtic in October.

It's a rotten run which won't be easy to end today against a Falkirk side who are backed by over 2000 travelling fans in their final game of the year.
