It's been a frantic start in France with both sides leaving off the handbrake and going for it from the off. Love to see it.

Over the years Wolfsburg have been a defensively well drilled team, with the likes of Beerensteyn, Huth and Endemann who they will look for in transition. They rely on their pace and athleticism to carry the ball up the pitch and get into the final third.

If Lyon don't win it with the eleven that are starting the game, then certainly they will with that bench, it's absolutely frightening. Chawinga, Dumornay, Katoto, they've got so many options that can make the difference.

Lyon midfielder Ingrid Engen insists that they still have "everything to play for" as they prepare for the second leg of their quarter-final with Wolfsburg.

The French giants have failed to win either of their past two games, following up last week's defeat in Germany with a 2-2 league draw at Strasbourg on Saturday.

"We were not at our best level, but we can’t lose the confidence in everything that we built up just because we lost one game," said Engen.

"We are 1-0 down and we have everything to play for, so it is so important that we lift ourselves up as best as possible. Focus on what we can do better as a team and not find excuses."

Wolfsburg head coach Stephan Lerch says that his side will be heading to France with a "nothing to lose" attitude as they look to see out their quarter-final against record eight-time winners Lyon.

The She Wolves have a one-goal advantage to protect heading into tonight's second leg in France after Lineth Beerensteyn's first half goal setted last week's encounter.

"I still think we need to win and that's how we want to approach it," said Lerch. "We want to pick up again with the attitude that we have nothing to lose."

He added: "I believe OL Lyonnes will be very dominant at home and that, because of last week's result, they will go in particularly aggressively and with a bit of fire in their bellies."
