If you stop one Barcelona player there are three or four other players that can get the goals and assists.

It is brilliant from Barcelona, Real Madrid are trying to play the offside, but she times her run to perfection. Alexia Putellas has been brilliant since coming back from injury, I think Pajor is just onside.

This has been a high-energy game so far.

Very open, both sides launching numbers forward as they try to attack.

Real will need to make some of these early chances count if they are to have even the slightest chance of turning around the tie.

The pitch looks so good to play on, the atmosphere is fantastic.

Real Madrid have to come out strong and really take it to Barcelona. It is going to be difficult. Real had to play the perfect game in the first leg and they were not able to do that.

The likes of Caicedo needs to get in the game really early on.

To beat this Barcelona side, everyone will have to be at their best.

Barcelona immediately go up the other end.

Real Madrid are caught dawdling at the back as the hosts break. Caroline Graham Hansen's shot is blocked, before Vicky Lopez has an effort from the edge of the area saved.

Filippa Angeldahl completely miscues the first effort of the game.

Real attack quickly down the right-hand side and work the ball into the middle, but she scuffs het shot and sends it a long way over.

It's going to be difficult for Real Madrid. They are 6-2 down and are trying to get goals, but they don't want to concede space in behind. Barcelona always have an answer. If you go tight then they will spin you, they can stretch the field, they are sharp, they possess the ball incredibly well.

Real Madrid have some good indivduals, the likes of Caicedo and Weir, but they need a little bit more.

You can't just have a few players that are decent and the rest are average to good.

Real Madrid look destined to exit the Champions League tonight.

It would take something truly extraordinary to turn things around at Barcelona, with Real needing to win by a five-goal margin to overturn the tie.

Manager Pau Quesada says his side "have to keep trying"

"We reviewed the first leg – it's clear that it wasn't our best performance," he said in his pre-match news conference.

"On Sunday in the league, in a different setting, we tried to turn it around, but it didn't work out for us either. They've done very well, but we have to keep trying."

Barcelona took control of their quarter-final with an impressive, dominant away first-leg victory at Spanish rivals Real Madrid.

Having won the competition in 2021, 2023 and 2024, Barcelona lost to Arsenal in last season's final.

As well as being on course for European glory, they are closing in on a seventh successive league title in Spain as they sit 13 points clear of Real, having won 23 of their 24 matches, scoring 106 goals in the process while only conceding six.
