Plenty of goals in the first half of our seven 19:45 GMT Championship games.

Same level of entertainment in this second period? Let's hope so.

    Getting back under way.

    Southampton 1-0 QPR

Three minutes added on at St Mary's.

Kuryu Matsuki sends a shot wide and here come Saints again.

They want a second before the half-time oranges are cut.

  3. Postpublished at 20:45 GMT 24 February

    Southampton 1-0 QPR

End to end stuff as we approach the halfway mark!

Saints are pushing for a second with Joe Walsh forced into a another smart stop before the visitors go on the counter attack.

But it comes to nothing with only Richard Kone up the pitch and the ball is intercepted.

    HT: Middlesbrough 1-1 Leicester

Great half from Leicester! Getting forward more, and every pass is half a second quicker and finding players in better positions. This is what we need! A shame to concede just before the break, but makes a nice change from conceding in the first four minutes in every match.

  5. 'Manning the standout for Saints'published at 20:42 GMT 24 February

    Southampton 1-0 QPR

    Adam Blackmore
    BBC Radio Solent sports editor

Ryan Manning's had a good first half.

He provided a great opportunity from the free-kick, made a good pass to Finn Azaz for the goal and has made some good clean tackles.

    HT: Swansea 0-1 Preston

Some Gin 'n' Juice needed for Swansea at half-time. Perk them up a bit instead of oranges.

  7. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:41 GMT 24 February

    Southampton 1-0 QPR

Oooh Saints are a hair's breadth away from doubling their lead!

Taylor Harwood-Bellis meets Ryan Manning's free-kick and beats the goalkeeper but sees his header spring back off the post and evade the waiting Jack Stephens too.

    QPR escape.

  8. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:40 GMT 24 February

    Watford 0-1 Ipswich

Sindre Walle Egeli's decent finish after Marcelino Nunez's free kick had hit the Watford wall separates the sides at Vicarage Road.

Egil Selvik also had to save from Egeli while Nampalys Mendy has had a shot blocked and Luca Kjerrumgaard has headed over for the home side.

Ipswich up to third as things stand.

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:38 GMT 24 February

    West Brom 1-0 Charlton

It had been quiet at The Hawthorns with the number of empty seats setting the bleak scene for the home side but they've been given a lift on the stroke of half time.

George Campbell's header has given Baggies boss Eric Ramsay some breathing space.

Charlton have created little with just a Sonny Carey shot straight at Max O'Leary.

Just as West Brom equalised, Leicester were also pegged back at Middlesbrough so Albion are back out of the bottom three as things stand.

  10. Postpublished at 20:37 GMT 24 February

    Southampton 1-0 QPR

Finn Azaz's eyes light up as the ball breaks to him in the QPR box but his shot is repelled by Joe Walsh.

The flag then goes up so it wouldn't have counted, but Walsh didn't know that.

  11. 'Players trudging off the pitch'published at 20:37 GMT 24 February

    Middlesbrough 1-1 Leicester

    Matt Heath
    Former Foxes defender

You saw the players trudging off the pitch at half-time, they looked so down.

Gary Rowett will highlight the positives because we were great for 45 minutes.

But there was some slight naivety going into injury time there which led to conceding the goal.

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:36 GMT 24 February

    Swansea 0-1 Preston

Daniel Jebbison celebrates at SwanseaImage source, Shutterstock

Daniel Jebbison's close range finish from a Callum Lang assist has the visitors ahead at the break.

Lang has almost opened his account with a header wide of the target while Ben Cabango has headed wide for Swansea.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:35 GMT 24 February

    Blackburn 1-2 Bristol City

Bristol City have come from behind to lead at Ewood Park and deservedly so.

From the moment Yuki Ohashi rifled into the roof of the net for Blackburn, the Robins have dominated.

Emil Riis with a fine volley into the far corner before Scott Twine finished off a brilliant team move to sweep in a half-volley of his own.

  14. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 GMT 24 February

    Middlesbrough 1-1 Leicester

Middlesbrough find a leveller just before the break and it's all square at the Riverside.

Caleb Okoli scored his first goal for relegation-battling Leicester to give the Foxes the lead but Riley McGree has restored parity for automatic promotion-chasing Boro.

    All to play for.

  15. Postpublished at 20:34 GMT 24 February

    Blackburn 1-2 Bristol City

A great chance at the end of the half for Ryoya Morishita but he can't divert his close range header on target.

  16. 'Well-worked goal'published at 20:34 GMT 24 February

    Middlesbrough 1-1 Leicester

    Neil Maddison
Former Middlesbrough midfielder on BBC Tees

It's a good ball from Hayden Hackney out to Tommy Conway, who puts it in the middle for McGree who bursts into the box and is able to hit it home.

He's in the right place at the right time.

  17. goal

GOAL West Brom 1-0 Charltonpublished at 20:33 GMT 24 February

    George Campbell (45 + 3 mins)

A first league goal for West Brom in 405 minutes!

A corner to the far post has George Campbell meeting it firmly with a downward header at the far post.

    Relief all around The Hawthorns.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:33 GMT 24 February

    Wrexham 2-0 Portsmouth

Wrexham's Max Cleworth celebrates with Josh WindassImage source, PA Media

Wrexham are sitting pretty at the break.

They've not been stunning but they've more than done enough to lead a fairly toothless Pompey.

Two headers, one from Sam Smith and the other from Max Cleworth are the difference.

This is Portsmouth's third away trip in a week - they won the first two - but maybe the travelling is catching up with them tonight.

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:32 GMT 24 February

    Hull 2-2 Derby

Derby players celebrate with Sam SzmodicsImage source, Shutterstock

What a half of football we've had at the MKM Stadium.

A bit of "anything you can do" about this one. Hull led twice and have been pegged back twice by Derby.

Goals galore between two play-off contenders. More of the same in the second 45 please.

  20. Postpublished at 20:32 GMT 24 February

    Wrexham 2-0 Portsmouth

A couple of corners here for Pompey as half-time approaches.

Corners being such a regular source of goals this season, Wrexham have to be on their guard.

It's cleared to the edge of the box where Zak Swanson pings a fine hit but just sends it over the bar.
