    Huddersfield 0-1 Man City

    Sue Smith
Former Leeds and England forward on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's Huddersfield's best opportunity. They just can't test James Trafford in the Man City goal but that should give them confidence.

    Huddersfield 0-1 Man City

Zepiqueno Redmond is down and in need of a bit of treatment. That comes after Huddersfield had one of their best opportunities but the shot flashed across the face of goal and didn't challenge James Trafford in the City goal.

  3. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 20:28 BST 24 September 2025

    Tottenham 2-0 Doncaster

Xavi Simons drops to the deck in the box and asks the question after a coming together with Tom Nixon but nothing given.

No VAR at this stage of the competition either.

    Port Vale 0-1 Arsenal

Bit of humour from the home fans as they sing "we won the ball" after taking it briefly off Arsenal.

    Tottenham 2-0 Doncaster

Antonin Kinsky makes his first save of the game and it's stunning!

The ball is lofted into the box and it's Owen Bailey with the Paulo Di Canio-style volley.

  7. Postpublished at 20:24 BST 24 September 2025

    Tottenham 2-0 Doncaster

Toyosi Olusanya races to the ball in the Spurs box but the hosts have three back defending and they snuff out the danger.

    Huddersfield 0-1 Man City

Lovely pass from Phil Foden out to Rico Lewis and he cushions it well to knock back across the face of goal but there's no City players there to tap home.

    Port Vale 0-1 Arsenal

When I say this is all Arsenal, I mean this is all Arsenal.

Port Vale are doing well to this at 1-0.

    Newcastle 2-0 Bradford

Bradford goalkeeper Sam Walker stayed down injured after making that save but it looks like he's fine to continue.

A chance for the manager to get a few messages across to his players. Just a coincidence, I'm sure.

  12. Postpublished at 20:19 BST 24 September 2025

    Tottenham 2-0 Doncaster

Concern for Spurs with defender Kevin Danso off the pitch getting his eye seen to. Seems to be some blood coming from it.

    Huddersfield 0-1 Man City

    Sue Smith
Former Leeds and England forward on BBC Radio 5 Live

From a Huddersfield perspective, they just need to keep the ball a bit more when they win it back. The ball keeps going out and they're defending again.

    Newcastle 2-0 Bradford

William Osula does really well to hold the ball up and nip away from his marker. He gets his shot off to the near post but it's a tight angle he's trying to squeeze it in at and Sam Walker parries away.

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:17 BST 24 September 2025

    Tottenham 2-0 Doncaster

Spurs are playing well here as Archie Gray looks for the far corner but Ian Lawlor pulls off a fine save to keep this at 2-0.

  16. Postpublished at 20:15 BST 24 September 2025

Savinho drives into the area with pace but his pass is blocked.

But, unfortunately for Huddersfield, it just keeps coming back.

  17. CLOSE!published at 20:15 BST 24 September 2025

    Tottenham 2-0 Doncaster

It's almost another goal for Spurs. This time it's Rodrigo Bentancur with the flicked header from a corner but it just missed the far post.

Great to see an English talent in Eze scoring, hopefully he now pushes on and cements his place in the England squad.
