That's all from us this evening.
We'll be back with more Europa League action tomorrow with Aston Villa taking on Bologna.
Until then, bye for now.
Have a read of all the reports from this evening's third-round action:
FT: Port Vale 0-2 Arsenal
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta, speaking to Sky Sports: "The biggest thing is the reputation and that's a big thing. We knew the crowd would be with them if we gave them anything. The second half and the moment they had throw in after throw in. We lacked control there.
"They played direct and they wanted to attack the box and we wanted to avoid that. We had moments in the game where we were very dominant and very good.
On Eberechi Eze: "That's why we got him for, to win football matches. He should have scored another two I think.
On Eze's position: "Depends on the players around him and the certain moments the space was closed, so we moved him somewhere else. He is a player who has to be in touch with the ball and we find ways to do that.
On Christian Norgaard: "What he brings is character and leadership. I'm really happy with him and the players that haven't played much.
"We started with five players that couldn't finish the game. They dealt with the situation good.
On Bukayo Saka: "We wanted to play him maximum 60 minutes and he comes from a big injury again and we need to manage his minutes."
Back to league action this weekend but the fourth round fixtures will take place across the week beginning 27 October.
Newcastle v Tottenham probably the standout fixture here but what a treat that all-Welsh fixture is.
Wycombe Wanderers v Fulham
Wolves v Chelsea
Liverpool v Crystal Palace
Wrexham v Cardiff City
An all-Welsh tie! Brilliant.
Newcastle United v Tottenham Hotspur
TASTY.
Swansea City v Manchester City
Grimsby Town v Brentford
Will the Grimsby fairytale continue?
Arsenal v Brighton
Away we go...
The draw is coming up next so here are your all-important numbers...
FT: Port Vale 0-2 Arsenal
Port Vale
Port Vale manager Darren Moore, speaking to Sky Sports: "We knew there would be spells where they would have the ball but after conceding early we spoke about staying compact, which we did.
"We tried to open up for last 25 mins and it was disappointing to concede the second but there were tired bodies out there.
"I was proud of the boys to keep composed after conceding early. We kept in touch with Arsenal and stayed in the game.
"When the game wore on we had half chances where I thought we could pull the tigger but we went wide instead. I'm pleased with the courage and determination - they did the club proud."
On what positives he takes from the game: "To see this ground packed. I told the boys if they can bottle tonight and take it into the league we won't go far wrong. We played an elite team with a top manager. I am proud of the boys tonight."

After last season's ups and downs, Cardiff City v Wrexham would be interesting

Arsenal midfielder Christian Norgaard, speaking to Sky Sports: "They made it hard. These cup ties are always difficult. They defended well but it's job done and we go on to the next round."
On making his first start for Arsenal: "I enjoyed it a lot. It was nice to get some rhythm. I've been waiting so long for my competitive start."
On the strength of the squad: "When you look at our starting eleven today there was a lot of talent on the pitch even with changes and we need that to compete on all fronts. It's a pleasure to be part of it."

"It's a very difficult place to come. It's important we got the first goal and we could move forward.
"You've seen in the past few weeks what players are doing when they come off the bench. It's a lot of depth and brings fresh energy which is what we need."
