Southampton's storming run at the top six is hitting the buffers as it stands as they trail 1-0 at Swansea.

Sixth-placed Hull City lead Birmingham 1-0, which is just as well as seventh-placed Wrexham are 2-0 up and in total control at home to injury-hit Stoke.

Roy Hodgson's excellent spell as Bristol City boss is continuing as his Robins lead the Canaries of Norwich 1-0.

At the bottom, West Brom, who could yet have a points deduction, are on course to move five points clear of the relegation zone as they lead Preston 1-0.

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:51 BST 18 April

    Preston 0-1 West Brom

Josh Maja's strike gives Albion a lead that has the Leicester fans departing Portsmouth quaking.

The striker was clinical to find the net after Preston failed to stop Isaac Price making a move near the half-way line.

Maja came close again before the close of half-time with a wide volley.

Big stuff from the Baggies, who are currently gaining the three points they might be docked some time soon.

Bristol City have yet to lose under Roy Hodgson since he took charge at the start of the month but Phillipe Clement has done some great things with the Canaries under his wing.

Will we see a fightback in the second half?

Bristol City have rustled the net once again but Ashton Gate's celebrations are soon quietened by the offside flag.

Up at the other end, Paris Maghoma makes a fantastic run to mount an attack and keeper Radek Vitek has to keep sharp to prevent it going into his net off his own player.
