Unlikely that either side will make changes at the start of the second half but Arsenal's bench is strong...Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri are among those Mikel Arteta can call upon.

An impressive performance from Tottenham. We made a lot before the game about the weekend's performance [v Arsenal] and how they would approach tonight.

The manager surprised us with his formation but the biggest transformation has been the attitude of the players, how high they were pressing and looking to win the ball back. They deservedly got their goal on the counter attack but PSG were always going to come back into it.

    Statman Dave
Football analyst on BBC Radio 5 Live

Lennart Karl is the absolute star of that first half. He has scored or assisted a goal every 83 minutes for Bayern this season.

Only Lamine Yamal has scored more goals as a 17 year old in Champions League history

That was almost a Thomas Frank masterplan... almost!

Spurs have been brilliant in and out of possession, especially at getting up the pitch in numbers, which is something they didn't do against Arsenal on Sunday.

They should have been ahead at half-time but they are not because they did not defend a set-piece properly. They have switched off once in the game and been punished for it.

They have gone man for man out of possession and PSG have found it difficult to deal with it. The question though is whether Spurs can keep this up for the 90 minutes.

You can hear more from Warnock on MOTD: Uefa Champions League at 22:40 GMT on BBC One and the BBC Sport website and app.

  6. Spurs suffer a real body blowpublished at 20:57 GMT 26 November 2025

    PSG 1-1 Tottenham Hotspur

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer in Paris

Always the danger against a team so rich in talent as PSG, but that strike from Vitinha is a real sickener for Spurs.

Thomas Frank's side looked to be taking a deserved lead in at half-time, but now it feels like momentum has shifted.

There were signs before the equaliser that Richarlison's goal had sparked the reigning Champions League holders into life, and so it proved.

Liverpool couldn't have got off to a worse start tonight but you've got to give credit for their reaction.

They'll be hoping to push on in the second half but don't count PSV out.

  8. 'Karl is a very interesting and talented player'published at 20:55 GMT 26 November 2025

    HT: Arsenal 1-1 Bayern Munich

    Matt Upson
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live at Emirates Stadium

Lennart Karl has probably been the talk of the first half here at the Emirates. He is a very interesting and talented player.

It has very much been a game of two teams who are physically very well matched with each other, but both like defending and getting about the pitch.

There hasn't been a lot of room to manoeuvre out there, but the 17-year-old is moving around spectacularly.

This has been a top-level game.

  9. Postpublished at 20:54 GMT 26 November 2025

    HT: Arsenal 1-1 Bayern Munich

After scoring against Club Brugge, Lennart Karl is the second youngest player to score in consecutive Champions League appearances (17 years and 277 days), behind Lamine Yamal (17 years and 270 days).

  10. 'Karl looks the real deal'published at 20:51 GMT 26 November 2025

    HT: Arsenal 1-1 Bayern Munich

    Matt Upson
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live at Emirates Stadium

Lennart Karl looks the real deal. He has the relaxed body language and the swagger.

He is playing in that number 10 role in behind Harry Kane so he has the freedom to pick up little bits of space either side of the pitch. He looks a really good player.

    PSG 1-1 Tottenham

    Stephen Warnock
Former Liverpool defender on MOTD: UEFA Champions League

It's a great strike but Spurs switched off on the edge of their own box again. How can you give PSG that much room? Romero runs past Richarlison to try to get to Vitinha.

  14. 'Unbelievable finish'published at 20:49 GMT 26 November 2025

    PSG 1-1 Tottenham

    Paul Robinson

Oh wow. That is an unbelievable finish. You will not see a better finish than that certainly this evening, maybe this week or even this month. Vitinha hits it with the outside of his right boot, on the laces, and it curves up and away from Vicario and into the top corner.

Tottenham can't hold on until half-time.

It is a superb strike to be fair as Vitinha goes for goal first time outside the box and drives an unstoppable effort in off the underside of the bar.

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:47 GMT 26 November 2025

Liverpool aren't happy as the ball clearly hits the arm of Ivan Perisic just outside the box but the referee blows for half-time instead.

A big second half coming up.

  18. 'Noticeable difference for Spurs is athleticism in midfield'published at 20:47 GMT 26 November 2025

    PSG 0-1 Tottenham

    Paul Robinson
Former Tottenham and England keeper on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

The noticeable difference in Tottenham tonight is the athleticism in the midfield. The changes Frank has made to bring in Sarr, Bergvall, Gray and their willingness to work up and down the pitch, that engine room. The three of them are willing to drop into the back four and fill the holes, but at the same time on the turnover they are willing to get forward and support the attack.

Laimer was also booked by the Italian referee.
