The message from Thomas Frank will be: "More of the same."

Keep doing what we have planned, stick to the game plan. Defend resolutely and attack on the counter. They have a midfield three that are happy to do the hard yards, cover the defence and support the attack when they press high.

  19. 'Bayern have to be tougher'published at 21:03 GMT 26 November 2025

    HT: Arsenal 1-1 Bayern Munich

    Thomas Hitzlsperger
Former Germany midfielder on MOTD: Uefa Champions League

On Arsenal's goal: Everyone is familiar with Arsenal's corners, but Bayern don't deal with it. That is credit to Arsenal though.

It looked like it was planned for Lewis-Skelly to give Neuer a little push to distract him just before the ball comes in, and it means he cannot get to where he wants to.

At first it looks like his mistake but then you see on the replays he was pushed just before it.

Maybe Bayern would have complained more if this was in the Bundesliga, it might be given as a foul there.

But they should know this happens in the Premier League so they have to be ready for it in the Champions League against an English team. They have to be tougher.

You can hear more from Hitzlsperger on MOTD: Uefa Champions League at 22:40 GMT on BBC One and the BBC Sport website and app.
