Falkirk couldn't come into this fixture in better fettle. A comprehensive win over Dundee United last time out sees them sit within the top six where they will stay no matter what happens here.

They are enjoying a brilliant, long-awaited, return to the top flight. Victory would put them above Rangers by a point.

The hosts are getting league wins consistently now but without dominating teams. Livingston remain aggrieved they didn't get a penalty last week at Ibrox and the concession against Braga midweek was further evidence of fragility at the back.

This game is a fascinating match-up.

Celtic win again under Martin O'Neill and are now two points behind Hearts with a game in hand.

Hibs will be kicking themselves since they created a few good chances either side of a quickfire double from Daizen Maeda and Arne Engels.

Rangers head coach Danny Rohl tells BBC Scotland: "[Youssef Chermiti] is ill, he is not well.

"After the Braga game it is important to use the squad. I think it could be an exciting game today.

"Djeidi Gassama has played a lot and last night he got his second boy - the night is not well and you have a lot of load.

"When I look to my bench today, we have exciting players to give us impact. Such a game can be decided in the last 45 minutes.

"If Falkirk play like they have in the past, it could be a quick game. It might be a different challenge to the last home game when we played against a deep block.

"Against Braga we lost our positioning a bit, and that is a learning for this game."

Celtic are pinned in, desperately defending their own penalty area.

A terrible cross from Jack Iredale relieves the pressure and that might just be that.

We're into five minutes of stoppage time at Easter Road.

Unsurprisingly, John McGlynn sticks with the same team that swept aside Dundee United at Tannadice last weekend.

Brian Graham leads the line, while the familiar midfield pairing of captain Brad Spencer and Dylan Tait continues.

Falkirk manager John McGlynn tells BBC Scotland: "We come here on the back of our best performance of the season. We come here with confidence.

"We're punching above our weight, that's for sure. Team spirit, camaraderie and continuity in the way we play.

"We're not getting carried away. If you take your eye off the ball, you can go on a run of defeats so we're guarding against that.

"We are causing teams problems and it was nice to get a clean sheet last week as well.

"Even though Rangers have won the four league games, there's still a bit of fragility there."

Rocky Bushiri makes a nuisance of himself in the Celtic penalty box but the big defender is a fraction offside.

Kasper Schmeichel is busy again, sticking out a leg to deny Chris Cadden.

Great work from Kieron Bowie to roll the ball into Cadden's path but the shot is scuffed into the ground when he really should be bursting the net.

Elie Youan pressures Liam Scales into conceding a corner, which Kasper Schmeichel punches away.

Hibs manage to keep the pressure on and win a free kick out on the left.

Jamie McGrath crosses and Schmeichel needs to look lively to claw away a header.

An offside flag goes up but I'm not so sure about that...

Celtic have done a good job of starving Hibs of the ball as we enter the final 10 minutes or so.
