It’s incredible to think Livingston have not won a match since 9 August when they defeated Falkirk 3-1 and all looked rosy in the garden. Since then, eight defeats and four draws mean they sit at the bottom of the table but there is no doom or gloom around the West Lothian club.

Win against Aberdeen and they will leapfrog St Mirren and Kilmarnock and go within three points of the Dons.

Jimmy Thelin will be looking for much more from his players than he got in the 1-1 draw with Armenian side Noah on Thursday but they are unbeaten in five in all competitions.

I imagined a fairly attacking match here but quality has really been lacking going forward, for both sides.

Falkirk have a good structure. Rangers are badly struggling to stretch them at all. Falkirk aren't offering much at the other end.

Little to get excited about, particularly for these home fans who are getting frustrated.

There's really not much happening.

Rangers are dominating possession, but Falkirk are pretty comfortable at the back.

James Tavernier gets his head up and then puts his cross halfway into the fans behind the Falkirk goal.

Rangers have been poor in the final third.

Rangers are so narrow and so easy to play against.

Oliver Antman wants to come inside and Nedim Bajrami probably wants to play as the number 10.

Max Aarons gets his head up and floats a cross to the onrushing oliver Antman at the back post.

It's a decent chance for the Finland winger, but his header is never threatening Scott Bain's goal.

Martin O'Neill's come in to do what he's done and probably exceeded expectation. It was to come in and bring stability back to the team. He's done that brilliantly, winning games and performances have been great.

You can tell what the fans feel about him. He's a legend. He's certainly not [tainted his legacy]. You can tell he's enjoying himself. He's been exactly what Celtic needed at this time. You can see a team working and fighting for each other.

No blistering start from the home side so far after looking lively in the very early stages.

Falkirk are settling and look comfortable in possession.

Rangers need a bit of creativity. It all looks a little slow-paced and predictable right now.

Martin O'Neill's record as interim boss at Celtic is now six wins and one defeat.

The 73-year-old has taken maximum points from his four Premiership matches and it would seem he's sticking around for a fifth at home to Dundee on Wednesday.

Hearts were eight points clear when O'Neill replaced Brendan Rodgers. Now the gap is two points.

It's hard to know what Aasgaard's strengths are.

He just drifts through games.

A chance for Falkirk, but Calvin Miller's shot is well blocked by Nasser Djiga.

Down the other end, Thelo Aasgaard shoots way over the top after the ball breaks to him on the edge of the box.

That's two defeats on the bounce for Hibs, who will end the day in fifth spot if Rangers avoid defeat.

Having gone 17 league games unbeaten at home, they have now lost two of their past three at Easter Road, against either side of the Old Firm.

Connor Barron does well to beat Dylan Tait, but his long-range shot is tame and straight at Scott Bain.

Moments later, Bojan Miovski pokes over the top from close range.

The offside flag goes up against the Rangers striker, but that looked very tight.
