  1. 'Iraola's next club are getting a top operator'published at 15:51 BST 24 May

Nottm Forest v Bournemouth (16:00 BST)

BBC Final Score commentator at the City Ground

When Andoni Iraola replaced Gary O'Neil as Bournemouth manager in 2023 no one could have predicted the journey he was going to take the Cherries on.

Today, as he manages the south coast club for the last time, he has secured European football for the first time in their history and if they win today to secure sixth spot they could be in the Champions League thanks to Aston Villa's Europa League success, depending on a series of results.

Assistant manager Tommy Elphick has said getting into Europe supersedes earning promotion to the top flight. We don't know where Iraola will end up next but whichever club he goes to will be getting a top class coach who has proved what a top operator he is. He has constantly evolved the Cherries squad and had to deal with losing top stars and then creating new ones.

  2. 'That is how far Man City have come under Guardiola'published at 15:49 BST 24 May

Man City v Aston Villa (16:00 BST)

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

The Man City fans just need to be patient with Enzo Maresca. It is similar to David Moyes following Sir Alex Ferguson, it's an impossible task following Pep Guardiola with the way his teams have played, the way he has adapted over the years and the huge amount of trophies he's won.

In many ways, they've won the FA Cup and League Cup this season but they will still be a little bit disappointed. That is how far they have come under Guardiola.

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur boss Roberto De Zerbi speaking to Sky Sports: "I believe in my players, they are good players, good guys. They know everything. Today we have to play the game with our qualities, and values.

"The fans are incredible, we have to play for them and to keep our energy just on this game. It's already very tough to stay focused on this game. We have to play a normal game with everything we need."

    Neil Johnston
    BBC Sport at Anfield

Two bursts of 'Oh Andy Andy, Andy Andy Andy Andy Robertson' from The Kop already. And we are still several minutes from kick-off.

The emotion inside Anfield for the departing Mo Salah and Andy Robertson is bubbling already.

  6. 'More emotional for this title win than my own'published at 15:46 BST 24 May

Crystal Palace v Arsenal (16:00 BST)

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on Football focus

I really wanted this group of players to feel the elation and joy we [the invincibles] did as players. I didn't think it was ever going to come, but I didn't realise the joy that I would get myself. I was far more emotional for this group than my own because you are right in the middle of it.

It's a great day today. It's been special to experience it. As much as I wanted to be in the [Football Focus] studio, I couldn't miss this!

    Tottenham v Everton (16:00 BST)

    Paul Robinson
Former Spurs goalkeeper on Football Focus

This is the biggest game in the club's history in my lifetime. This would be the biggest story, in terms of relegation, in football.

Prediction? I think West Ham will go down.

  8. Robertson x Dalglishpublished at 15:44 BST 24 May

    Liverpool v Brentford (16:00 BST)

A lovely movement between two Scottish legends as Sir Kenny Dalglish tells Andy Robertson that he's "done Liverpool and Scotland proud".

  10. 'A chance for West Ham but it's a tall order'published at 15:43 BST 24 May

West Ham v Leeds United (16:00 BST)

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

The last few games West Ham have really slipped up. There was the contentious decision against Arsenal, which may have left them feeling hard done by. Then the loss at Newcastle, with a game of that magnitude to be as limp and flat as they were was thoroughly disappointing. With their home record they may feel they have a chance, but it is a tall order for them.

West Ham v Leeds United (16:00 BST)

    West Ham United

West Ham United boss Nuno Espirito Santo speaking to Sky Sports: "It's our last chance. Training has been good and we are ready to go, let's see what happens. We have the same approach we have been trying, start the game well and try to score first. let's wait and see.

"The belief is there. Definitely. It's not going to be easy. We need to be positive and try to defend well. We want to score as soon as possible, that is the reality, but we have to be ready for any scenario, competing for every ball and every moment of focus and concentration. The fans will be there. It's up to us to deliver, we have to give back."

  14. 'Form goes out of the window today'published at 15:41 BST 24 May

    Tottenham v Everton (16:00 BST)

    Paul Robinson
Former Spurs goalkeeper on Football Focus

I expected more from Tottenham against Chelsea, but they sat back and were submissive at times. It wasn't a performance of a team looking for survival.

Pressure does stange hings to you. I have been in this situation twice and relegated twice. When you come down to the last day, nothing goes to form. It all goes out of the window.

  15. Can Salah add to goals tally on special day?published at 15:40 BST 24 May

    Liverpool v Brentford (16:00 BST)

    John Bennett
BBC Final Score reporter at Anfield

I walked past a family on my way into the ground and overheard a mum saying that her son had been in tears about the prospect of Mohamed Salah leaving, when he woke up this morning at 5:15am.

I’m sure many more Liverpool fans will be emotional later when Salah is substituted for final time and when the Egyptian is involved in a post-match farewell presentation akingside Andy Robertson.

The fans around me are relieved that Salah’s starting after all the pre-match speculation.

He sprinted out for the warm-up with a big smile on his face and all the cameras pointed in his direction. Let’s see if he can add to his 257 Liverpool goals on this special day.

Caoimhín Kelleher is making his first return since leaving for Brentford last summer.

The goalkeeper, who saved a Kylian Mbappe penalty in a 2-0 Champions League win over Real Madrid at Anfield while deputising for first-choice Alisson in November 2024, has just received a huge ovation from the early arrivals inside the ground after coming out to warm up.

    Shamoon Hafez
    Football reporter at Etihad Stadium

The sun is finally out and there is a real exciting feeling, tinged with some sadness of course, at Etihad Stadium today.

Manager Pep Guardiola is bid an emotional farewell after this afternoon's game against Aston Villa, having taken charge for a record 593rd time, moving one ahead of Les McDowall into top spot.

Bernardo Silva and John Stones were given mosaics at the club's training ground for their distinguished service, while former players Ederson and Ilkay Gundogan are expected to be in attendance too.

For Villa, it's an afternoon they can enjoy too having won the Europa League in midweek and their place in next season's Champions League secure.

  20. 'Now is the time'published at 15:38 BST 24 May

Man City v Aston Villa (16:00 BST)

    Manchester City

Man City boss Pep Guardiola speaking to Sky Sports before his final game in charge: "Now is the time. Once we announced it maybe we think 'oh maybe I was wrong' but no no, this is the time. The past has been really good with us, but the future will be better without me. You have to have a special energy. The club made me this incredible presence [ambassador] so I will always be around in some way or another at this club."
