    Grimsby 3-0 Wealdstone

    Grimsby should have a fourth!

Charlie Vernam, who has been excellent this afternoon, beats his man and delivers a terrific cross which somehow alludes Darragh Burns.

  2. CLOSE!published at 15:38 GMT 6 December 2025

    Cheltenham 1-1 Buxton

Panic in the Cheltenham penalty area!

A corner is played back to Buxton skipper Connor Kirby, whose header from outside the box is fumbled by Joe Day but the Cheltenham keeper scrambles on top of the loose ball at the second attempt with Tai Sodje ready to pounce.

    End-to-end action here in Gloucestershire.

    Fleetwood 0-0 Luton

Luton's Lasse Nordas is finding the positions but he doesn't seem to be taking the opportunities he's found so far.

He's once again sneaking through into the box but he sends his strike right into the goalkeeper's looming body.

The visitors are having a very healthy share of the possession but by no means keeping Fleetwood locked out.

  4. 'Cheltenham on top of this one'published at 15:36 GMT 6 December 2025

    Cheltenham 1-1 Buxton

    Peter Matthews
BBC Radio Gloucestershire's Cheltenham Town commentator

Cheltenham are starting to move through the gears in this one.

They are on top of this one now, there is no doubt about that.

  5. CLOSE!published at 15:34 GMT 6 December 2025

    Cheltenham 1-1 Buxton

You can't keep your eyes off this one.

A lovely cross from the right causes danger in the Buxton six-yard box but, coming in at the back post, Hakeeb Adelakun can not extend himself far enough and the ball goes narrowly wide.

Both sides continue to look threatening.

  6. 'Well taken finish'published at 15:33 GMT 6 December 2025

    Cheltenham 1-1 Buxton

    Mark Halliwell
    BBC Radio Gloucestershire summariser

I said earlier how well Hutchinson and Adelakun had been linking up and we saw it again there.

It was a well taken finish from Hutchinson.

We said Cheltenham had to get back on level terms and they have done just that.

They have been the better side since the Buxton goal.

    Swindon 1-0 Bolton

Just as Bolton look like they are going to make a dent, Swindon get an opportunity.

Eoin Toal makes a fumble at the back with a loose pass at the back and it's pounced on by Billy Bodin.

He's got an open goal to feast on but drags his effort wide. BIG miss and it could cost them later on.

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:30 GMT 6 December 2025

    Swindon 1-0 Bolton

Swindon keeper Connor Ripley is being kept busy in these past few minutes.

He's now making a quick-thinking save to deny Sam Dalby a first for Bolton, he's then having to keep an eye on Thierry Gale, who like his team-mate earlier can only find the crossbar.

The visitors really applying the pressure.

    Fleetwood 0-0 Luton

    Ben Croucher
BBC Final Score ay Highbury Stadium

Despite the imposing frames of Andersen and Mengi in the middle of the Luton defence, Fleetwood are causing some problems with the long balls knocked up to Ryan Graydon and Ched Evans.

Both teams happy to commit numbers forward with Fleetwood opened up on a couple of occasions, only for some wasteful Hatters finishing to save them.

    Isaac Hutchinson (29 mins)

    Vital equaliser for Cheltenham!

The ball is nicely slipped through to midfielder Isaac Hutchinson, who keeps his cool in front of goal, and finds the bottom corner of the Buxton net - striking across goal with his left foot.

We've got a cracking FA Cup tie on our hands here folks.

  11. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:29 GMT 6 December 2025

    Cheltenham 0-1 Buxton

Buxton so close to grabbing their second!

A long free-kick finds its way to Max Bardell, who does the right thing and heads the ball down, but it hits the outside of the post and goes out for a goal kick!

The home side have struggled in the league so far this season and their defensive frailties are on show here again so far this afternoon against the National League North club who sit 39 places below them in the English football pyramid.

  12. Another injury for Cambridge, upset at Accrington?published at 15:28 GMT 6 December 2025

    FA Cup second-round latest

Zak Bradshaw has been forced off with an injury for Cambridge United in their tie at Stockport and has been replaced by Liam Bennett.

Add that to the ever-growing injury list for the U's, including captain Michael Morrison who is out until next month with a hamstring injury, while forward Louis Appere is out with a quad issue.

Boss Neil Harris was lamenting the injury problems just a few days ago.

It remains goalless at Edgeley Park.

Elsewhere, League Two Accrington could be on course for an upset against League One Mansfield as Isaac Heath has put them 1-0 up.

    Swindon 1-0 Bolton

Thierry Gale has not taken much time to get into the flow as he makes his comeback from a knee injury.

The Trotters have struggled to find a way through to goal so far but they finally get a sight when Gale unleashes.

But Swindon defender Jamie Knight-Lebel makes a very timely block to ensure things don't get on even terms.

It has been pretty much all Cheltenham since the goal went in.

They just need to keep doing what they are at the minute.

  17. goal

GOAL: Grimsby 3-0 Wealdstonepublished at 15:24 GMT 6 December 2025

    Jamie Walker (23 mins)

This cup tie looks to be over as a contest already!

It's more good work from Charlie Vernam who grabs his second assist of the match already, picking out Jamie Walker who turns the ball home from close range.

3-0 up and Grimsby are in cruise control. They look to be heading to the third round with ease.

  18. CLOSE!published at 15:23 GMT 6 December 2025

    Cheltenham 0-1 Buxton

Oh, how have Cheltenham not levelled here!

The ball is pulled back to Jake Bickerstaff who scuffs his effort but it falls to Hakeeb Adelakun completely unmarked inside the six-yard box.

Adelakun thinks he has equalised but, somehow, Buxton keeper Joe Young makes a heroic save before Jordan Thomas fires the rebound wide.

Unbelievable chance for the hosts goes begging.

  20. 'Wonderful moment for Buxton'published at 15:20 GMT 6 December 2025

    Cheltenham 0-1 Buxton

    Peter Matthews
BBC Radio Gloucestershire's Cheltenham Town commentator

It is the Buxton fans you can hear at the moment, it is a wonderful moment for them.

But it is very, very self inflicted from Cheltenham.
