Absolutely spineless from the players all season. Poor performances across the board reflected by 17 wins in 82. Now we are down to League One for the first time in 17 years and staring down the barrel of serious financial trouble.

There really needs to be a special dispensation brought in whereby Premier League champions can't be relegated from the top flight for a 10-year period from date of triumph. Winning the Prem is no small feat and merits such. The Prem is poorer without Blackburn and Leicester in it.

[Re: Steve 21.59]. Nothing to do with Cooper "wasting the money", Top and King Power are ultimately the ones to be held accountable for this mess. If anything Rodgers too for overspending and being left too long to leave. If we realists are plastic, fans such as you are deluded!

Ten years ago, Leicester were days away from winning the Premier League. Next season, they will play in League One.

The Foxes have suffered a sharp decline since winning the FA Cup in 2021, and Tuesday's 2-2 draw with Hull City confirmed their relegation to the third tier.

From the extraordinary high of the 5,000-1 title triumph that shocked the world to the devastating loss of owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha in a helicopter crash two years later, the Foxes have experienced every emotion in the past decade.

In 2016-17 they played Atletico Madrid in the Champions League quarter-finals. A decade later, the Foxes will be in a league with a Bromley team who have spent 132 of their 134 years in existence playing non-league football.

It's shameful, what these players have delivered this season.

They also need to be accountable.

The first song to play at the King Power following full time was Hozier's Too Sweet but there's not danger of that with this crowd.

A chorus of successive boos followed by chants of 'sack the board' rings out as the players take their lap of dishonour.

They know, as does their disenchanted fan base, that this season has been terribly sour from start to finish.

Only plastic fans are calling for Top and King Power out of our club! Real fans remember everything Leicester have achieved under him and his dad. The mistake was bringing in Cooper, who wasted the money. We've had nothing to spend since then!

I remember hearing a Leicester fan on 606 crowing about Coventry’s relegation to League One. Despite this, I take little pleasure in seeing them go down. Hope they turn it around quickly and join us in the top flight before too long.

We need to talk about how perilous the situation is.

Best case scenario is I see us in the doldrums of English football.

Top has made so many mistakes and he's so naive that if he remains in control, things are going to get a whole lot worse before they get any better.

There it is then. Official confirmation of Leicester City's relegation and Coventry City's title.

Millwall climb into the automatic promotion places before Ipswich play tomorrow and Wrexham leapfrog Hull in the play-off spots.

Oxford remain five points adrift of safety and will need two wins from their final two games to have any chance of staying up.

Even that may not be enough for the U's, who will be relegated if Blackburn win and Charlton avoid defeat tomorrow.

There's a deep sadness within me. It's made us all angry and upset.

I really do fear for the future of this football club. If Top holds onto this club much longer, he'll run it out of existence.

He's very naive, big changes need to be made.

10 years ago I was a Leicester fan in Adelaide. Got up at 5am to see Spurs fail to beat Chelsea thus securing us the Premier League. Cannot believe how far we’ve fallen. And I can see it getting worse next season.

    Norwich 2-1 Derby

Two glorious goals from Mo Toure and Liam Gibbs seal the points for Norwich and leave Derby with an uphill struggle to make the play-offs.

Toure also saw a penalty saved by Jacob Widell-Zetterstrom while David Ozoh briefly brought the Rams level, but they will need to find four points on Wrexham and Hull in the final two games if they are to Ram raid the top-six.

A win for Wrexham and a point for Hull mean Norwich have to win their two remaining games and hope the Red Dragons and Tigers lose both of theirs without Derby claiming more than four points... and even then it could go down to goal difference.

Almost every player from both clubs was either on their haunches or on the floor at full time.

A draw sends Leicester down and Hull know their play-off hopes have been damaged and are replaced in the top six by Wrexham.

As far as Leicester are concerned, there was little reaction from the fans - just resignation.

I recognised some spirit in the second-half but it was too late, the damage was done.

Leicester find themselves in League One with no real leadership, that worries me.

When there's no leadership things sink, it's a desperately low time for the football club, probably the worst in its history.

People just don't know what to do.

They are going up with a flourish.
