The first of what I suspect will be a number of one-sided conversations between Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola and fourth official Oliver Langford just then.

Iraola felt Antoine Semenyo was penalised for what he believed was a shoulder charge with Kobbie Mainoo, pointing out in the process his own side had not benefitted from a similar interpretation of the rules a bit earlier.

On the basis Luke Shaw is unlikely to be used as a wing-back due to the number of muscular issues he has endured in recent times even when he returns from his latest absence, Tyrell Malacia is the best fit in this Manchester United for Ruben Amorim's system.

Malacia has only just returned from almost 18 months out with a knee problem but if he has the energy, will be a useful outlet on the left flank and, in theory, open spaces inside which skipper Bruno Fernandes might be able to exploit.

Chelsea are beginning to build up a head of steam despite the awful conditions. Now a chance for Pedro Neto but Jordan Pickford is right behind it.
