  1. McGlynn seeks 'freshness' amid hectic schedulepublished at 19:40 GMT 11 February

    Falkirk v Dundee (19:45)

Falkirk manager John McGlynn tells BBC Radio Scotland: "We made five changes for the Stenhousemuir game at the weekend and made five tonight, not all like for like.

"We could have wrapped Brad Spencer up and got him on the pitch. The injury, we felt if he left it for two or three days, and only used him today in an emergency, he would be fine for the next game. He's played virtually every minute of every game.

"Calvin Miller is along similar lines. He has worked his socks off but his game is dynamic and he needs to be rested and sharp to be able to do that.

"A little bit of freshness in the team and a little bit horses for courses as well."

  2. 'Players are up to the task' - O'Neillpublished at 19:38 GMT 11 February

    Celtic v Livingston (19:45)

Celtic manager Martin O'Neill tells BBC Scotland: "We’ve ground to catch up - we’ve just got to try and keep going. And the players are up for the task. That’s the most important thing."

On whether former Liverpool and Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamblerlain will make his debut: "We’ll see how things go. He’s just come in, he’s just getting to know the names of the players as much as anything else. But I think he’ll be a proper addition to the squad and make his presence felt here over the next couple of months."

On league leaders Hearts' form: "It’s not a surprise at all and we have to try to match the results. That’s what our aim is here tonight."

  3. History favours Killie in this fixturepublished at 19:37 GMT 11 February

    Kilmarnock v St Mirren (19:45)

Livingston look like a lost cause at the bottom, which makes this a massive match for Kilmarnock as they strive to avoid the relegation play-off place.

A win tonight would reduce the gap to St Mirren to three points and maybe Dundee too. Defeat would make catching the Paisley side very difficult.

Killie have not lost a home league game to the Buddies since 2013 so the omens are good - although recent form is anything but, with one win from 19. A more positive spin is one win from two...

  4. Late change for Livipublished at 19:36 GMT 11 February

    Celtic v Livingston (19:45)

A late change to the Livingston line-up.

Samson Lawal has picked up an injury in the warm up, so Ryan McGowan starts.

  5. Dundee on their travels againpublished at 19:35 GMT 11 February

    Falkirk v Dundee (19:45)

This is a fifth successive away day in all competitions for Dundee, who had their home game against Motherwell postponed last week.

The Dark Blues have managed just one victory from 13 league games on the road this season.

Steven Pressley's side were seconds away from a famous Scottish Cup win at Celtic Park on Saturday before losing out in extra time.

  6. Falkirk in fine fettlepublished at 19:34 GMT 11 February

    Falkirk v Dundee (19:45)

Celtic are the only side to have beaten Falkirk in 2026 - twice.

In their other four league matches this year, the Bairns have seen off Aberdeen, St Mirren, Hibs and Livingston.

And they dumped Hearts out of the Scottish Cup before getting past Stenhousemuir to reach the quarter-finals.

  7. Livi's long waitpublished at 19:33 GMT 11 February

    Celtic v Livingston (19:45)

This is Livingston's 20th league visit to Celtic Park and they are yet to win, losing 16 and drawing three times.

The West Lothian side have picked up a mere four points from 12 games on the road this season.

  8. Another double for Nygren?published at 19:31 GMT 11 February

    Celtic v Livingston (19:45)

Celtic are aiming for an 11th successive win over Livingston in all competitions.

Earlier this season, Brendan Rodgers oversaw a comfortable 3-0 home success, while there was a wild 4-2 at Almondvale under Wilfried Nancy at the end of last year, with four goals inside the first 10 minutes and none in the second half.

Benjamin Nygren scored twice in each of those games.

  9. Watt & Welsh in for Well, Rangers rotate eightpublished at 19:28 GMT 11 February

    Motherwell v Rangers (20:00)

Jens Berthel Askou names a team that looks very close to his strongest XI, with three changes to the team that beat Livingston last time.

They are boosted hugely by the return of Stephen Welsh and Elliot Watt, with Emmanuel Longelo coming in at left-back. Tom Sparrow and Oscar Priestman drop to the bench, with Johnny Koutroumbis ruled out through injury.

Just three players remain from Rangers' 8-0 Scottish Cup win over Queen's Park at the weekend, despite strong showings from some of the new signings.

James Tavernier, Nasser Djiga and Mohamed Diomande keep their places, with the rest rotated. Only Tochi Chukwuani starts from the winter additions, with Youssef Chermiti up top.

  10. Curtis starts for Kilmarnock, Idowu in for Saintspublished at 19:26 GMT 11 February

    Kilmarnock v St Mirren (19:45)

One change for Kilmarnock as Dominic Thompson serves a suspension following his red card at Ibrox. Findlay Curtis, on loan from Rangers and ineligible for last week’s 5-1 defeat in Govan, comes into Neil McCann's reshaped team.

St Mirren boss Stephen Robinson also makes just one alteration to his side. Roland Idowu, who scored the winner in the 2-1 Scottish Cup victory over Airdrie on Friday, is in from the start in place of Jake Young, who serves the second match of his ban.

  11. Falkirk rotate, Dundee unchangedpublished at 19:24 GMT 11 February

    Falkirk v Dundee (19:45)

Having watched his rotated team see off third-tier Stenhousemuir, Falkirk boss John McGlynn makes five changes as the Bairns return to Premiership action.

Liam Henderson, Filip Lissah, Ethan Ross, Henry Cartwright and Barney Stewart are all brought back in to start.

Leon McCann, Coll Donaldson, Brad Spencer, Calvin MIller and Brian Graham drop to the bench.

Having come within seconds of dumping Celtic out of the Scottish Cup, Steven Pressley names an unchanged Dundee side to go again this evening.

  12. Ox on bench as Celtic change sixpublished at 19:22 GMT 11 February

    Celtic v Livingston (19:45)

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could make his Celtic debut tonight - the former Liverpool and Arsenal midfielder is on the bench for Martin O'Neill's side after signing on a free at the weekend.

O'Neill makes six changes from the side that beat Dundee in the Scottish Cup on Sunday.

Kasper Schmeichel takes the gloves back from Viljami Sinisalo and Marcelo Saracchi comes in for Kieran Tierney at left-back.

Arne Engels and Benjamin Nygren are preferred in midfield in place of Paulo Bernardo and Reo Hatate, while Daizen Maeda and Seabastian Tounekti flank Tomas Cvancara up front as Yang Hyun-jun and Joel Mvuka drop out of the squad entirely.

For Livingston, Danny Wilson and Samson Lawal return, Cammy Kerr makes a long-awaited debut at right-back, while Jeremy Bokila is on the bench.

  13. No game at Tannadicepublished at 19:20 GMT 11 February

    Dundee United P-P Aberdeen

No surprise that this one was called off, given the soggy conditions in the north east.

That's three postponements in a row for Aberdeen and two for United.

The forecast suggests some respite from the rain on Friday and Saturday, but then it returns.

  14. Motherwell's mean home recordpublished at 19:18 GMT 11 February

    Motherwell v Rangers (20:00)

Motherwell have lost just once at home in the Premiership all season - to Falkirk, after scoring first.

Across 12 games, they have gathered an impressive 27 points, winning eight of those.

And no opponent has scored in the nine outings at Fir Park since that defeat to Falkirk.

"I’m sure if you watch there’s luck involved there as well but, for the most part, we are so strong and secure, teams can't really play through us and we work really hard on that and hopefully the luck continues," said defender Paul McGinn yesterday.

"We had a few that have just gone by the post and stuff so to do that, you do need that luck, but it’s no coincidence as well that we’re keeping it to a minimum."

  15. Courage comes with confidence - Rohlpublished at 19:16 GMT 11 February

    Motherwell v Rangers (20:00)

Rangers' Danny Rohl picked up the manager of the month award for January yesterday, having taken a maximum 12 points from four league fixtures.

His side arrive at Fir Park buoyed by 13 goals in big wins over Kilmarnock and Queen's Park.

"A couple of weeks ago we were maybe a little bit too respectful, too fearful, too scared for such a game, now we’re looking forward to it," said the German on Tuesday.

"I can speak a lot about where we are at the moment, but we have to deliver again and again, and if we do this, then we have a great opportunity to make the next small step on our journey.

"My mindset is always go for a win. I want to see a team that goes with courage on the pitch and is always ready to score goals."

  16. Form sides meet at Fir Parkpublished at 19:13 GMT 11 February

    Motherwell v Rangers (20:00)

Game of the night is at Fir Park.

Fourth against second, with both sides in sparkling form.

Since losing 1-0 at Ibrox on 27 December, Motherwell have five wins and a draw in all competitions. That game in Govan has been their only defeat in 15.

Rangers have lost just once domestically since Danny Rohl took over in late October and have won seven of their past eight in the Premiership.

  17. Plastic pays off for Falkirk?published at 19:11 GMT 11 February

    Falkirk v Dundee (19:45)

    Brian McLauchlin
BBC Sport Scotland at The Falkirk Stadium

A lot has been spoken about in the past few years about the negative impact of ‘all weather pitches’ but the likelihood is this game would be off were it on grass.

Although the home side hold a much higher league position than the visitors, Dundee have won four of the last five meetings in this fixture.

This may well end up being game won through a mistake, with players doing their best to ensure they are not the ones culpable.

This is Martin O'Neill's 200th league match in charge of Celtic. A number only bettered by five other men before him: Neil Lennon, Billy McNeill, Jock Stein, Jimmy McGrory and Willie Maley.

There will be a further landmark on Sunday as well. His 200th league match in charge is also his 299th as Celtic manager in all competitions.
