    Motherwell 0-0 Rangers

    Big chance for the hosts!

It's the first time Motherwell have broken forward and Callum Slattery lays it off to Emmanuel Longelo in the box, but the left-back's shot is too close to Jack Butland and the keeper is able to save.

    Kilmarnock 0-1 St Mirren

Referee Grant Irvine has been a busy man already.

First he books David Watson for a deliberate handball that prevents a St Mirren counter-attack, then he has a word with Bruce Anderson after he leaves a boot in to challenge Saints goalkeeper Shamal George.

It's an open game following that early St Mirren goal and both sides are taking every opportunity to get on the front foot.

Nobody picks Saracchi up at the edge of the box. He has time to control it and pick his spot. It's just gone through so many bodies.

It was coming. You cannot have so many chances without scoring one of them and Celtic get that vital opener.

Jermoe Prior - who has now made four saves - turns a goalbound shot straight into Daizen Maeda's path, but the Japan forward's header is cleared off the line.

    Kilmarnock 0-1 St Mirren

Kilmarnock respond instantly, driving up the pitch and forcing three corners in quick succession.

The St Mirren defence is well organised and deals with the threat.

  9. 'Motherwell will be a challenge for us' - Rohlpublished at 19:57 GMT 11 February

    Motherwell v Rangers (20:00)

Rangers head coach Danny Rohl tells BBC Scotland: "It’s a challenge for us to play Motherwell but if you want to be successful you have to take on these challenges. I think both teams will try something. It will be a running game, an intense game. We are prepared for this. My group is totally convinced we can win this game today.

"A win is always important but we know as well this result today will not decide the season. Of course we want to have a good home game on Sunday [against league leaders Hearts]. We take it step by step and then see where we are."

    Celtic 0-0 Livingston

Celtic could have been 3-0 up already, but down the other end, Livingston almost hit the front.

Stevie May spins and fires a powerful shot towards goal, which Kasper Schmeichel does well to save away to his right.

  11. Motherwell 'must take their moments' - Askoupublished at 19:56 GMT 11 February

    Motherwell v Rangers (20:00)

Motherwell manager Jens Berthel Askou tells BBC Scotland: "Everyone is excited, it's the game this round that everyone wants to watch between two very in-form teams.

"We've worked hard to get to where we are and we've been blessed with some things going our way. We've also had some set backs and it's about staying calm and looking for the little details we can improve.

"Rangers have physicality and strength in the box, and good combinations in set plays. It's some of the stuff that's most difficult for us to defend against. That's the moment we have to step up.

"You need to take your chances. We had our moments in the first half and we didn't take them. When you play the best, you need to take these moments. That was the difference in that [second] game."

  12. 'Celtic should be ahead'published at 19:55 GMT 11 February

    Celtic 0-0 Livingston

    Pat Bonner
Former Celtic goalkeeper on BBC Sportsound

Good saves [from Jerome Prior] but I've got to say - I was critical of Celtic against Dundee that they didn't make enough of those runs in behind.

But today that's three, four runs in behind early on. So they've done their analysis, they've seen their weakness and they really should be a goal in front.

  13. goal

GOAL Kilmarnock 0-1 St Mirrenpublished at 19:53 GMT 11 February

    Killian Phillips

    St Mirren take the lead!

After a poor Kilmarnock clearance is nodded back into the box by Richard King, Mika Mandron tries to get the ball out from under his feet but it breaks to Killian Phillips who neatly backheels into the net.

Away we go for the first three games of the evening...

  18. 'Onus is on Kilmarnock' - Robinsonpublished at 19:44 GMT 11 February

    Kilmarnock v St Mirren (19:45)

St Mirren manager Stephen Robinson tells BBC Radio Scotland:" We’re five games unbeaten so we go into the game confident. We’ve been grinding out results, getting through in cup competitions and we had a brilliant performance against Hearts.

"Of course we go in confident but we know this pitch is a leveller for any team. Kilmarnock had a very good result against Aberdeen in their last match at home so we know we need to be at the top of our game.

"We haven’t been at the top of our game recently but we’ve been getting results so that’s the sign of a decent side. We would take any kind of result tonight.

"The onus is on them to win so we need to make sure we come out of the game still six points clear if not more."

  19. Bain blow for Bairnspublished at 19:42 GMT 11 February

  20. 'Hopefully there is no fatigue' - Pressleypublished at 19:41 GMT 11 February

    Falkirk v Dundee (19:45)

Dundee manager Steven Pressley tells BBC Radio Scotland: "There was real disappointment [after the extra time loss to Celtic] because we had belief we could go and get something. To play as well as we did for 96 minutes and lose the late goal was a real blow.

"The one thing the players can take is their performance. It's these types of performance which really connect you to your supporters.

"We have to get over that tonight. Hopefully there is no fatigue in the legs tonight and we can perform in a similar manner."
