    HT: Norwich 2-0 Preston

Was hoping for play-offs not too long ago, when we were fourth. I'm hoping we don't get dragged into a relegation scrap now, but am losing hope with each passing week. What's happened to PNE?

    Wil, Preston

If they do not win today, which is looking increasingly likely, that will be one win in 12 for North End.

  3. 'Ipswich need a better second half'published at 15:59 GMT 14 March

    HT: Sheff Wed 0-0 Ipswich

    Alex Mathie
Former Ipswich Town striker on BBC Radio Suffolk

From an Ipswich Town point of view, I'd like to see a lot more from us in the second half.

We're too slow and we're too narrow. I think I've seen one sprint, there's no pace in the game from either team. We've got to get more strikers on the pitch.

We've had a couple of opportunities but we have to see better in the second half.

  4. 'Performance of the season so far'published at 15:56 GMT 14 March

    HT: West Brom 1-0 Hull

    Tony Brown
West Brom's all-time record scorer on BBC Radio WM

This has been the performance of the season so far.

Since the kick-off they've just gone at Hull from all angles, we've created so many chances. The only problem for me is that we haven't scored one or two more goals.

They need that second goal, that is the most vital thing now. They've got to keep this performance up for the next 45 minutes.

  5. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:53 GMT 14 March

    West Brom 1-0 Hull City

Half-time and West Brom are good value for their first league win in 2026 over a 10-man Hull City!

Albion created three excellent opportunities before Josh Maja fired home first-time inside the area after being picked out by Jed Wallace - who has been excellent in the first half.

Wallace then robbed the ball off Charlie Hughes and the Hull defender was shown a straight red card for bringing the Albion winger down just outside the box.

In injury-time, Hull captain Lewie Coyle hobbled off with an injury and had to be replaced by Amir Hadziahmetovic - the visitors' second substitution already.

A big uphill challenge for Hull to get back into this one then.

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:52 GMT 14 March

    Birmingham 1-1 Sheffield United

Patrick Bamford scores Sheffield United's equaliser against BirminghamImage source, PA Media

Half-time and Birmingham have been pegged back by 10-man Sheffield United in an entertaining first half at St Andrew's.

Marvin Ducksch grabbed the opener for Birmingham, firing a terrific free-kick into the top corner from 25 yards, after Femi Seriki was sent off for the visitors for bringing down Ibrahim Osman as the final covering defender.

Sheffield United have not stopped playing despite their numerical disadvantage and were rewarded a penalty in bizarre circumstances but Sydie Peck saw his spot-kick well saved by Blues keeper James Beadle.

Beadle was helpless three minutes into injury time at the end of the first half though, watching Patrick Bamford take the ball around him before firing into an empty net from a tight angle.

    Cracking half of Championship football.

    Goalless at the break.

Ipswich have been the better side with Darnell Furlong coming the closest after seeing his header cleared off the line.

But Sheffield Wednesday are holding their own as things stand.

  8. goal

GOAL: Birmingham 1-1 Sheffield Unitedpublished at 15:50 GMT 14 March

    Patrick Bamford (45+3 mins)

He's done it again against Birmingham - Patrick Bamford has equalised for 10-man Sheffield United.

Birmingham give the ball away in midfield and a superb ball from Harrison Burrows over the top finds Bamford clean in on goal.

His first touch is excellent to bring the ball down, his second takes him around Birmingham keeper James Beadle and his third finds the back of the net. As clinical as that.

    1-1!

Stoke lead at the break thanks to Million Manhoef's goal after 28 minutes.

It's been a decent game with both sides creating chances, but it's the Potters who go in with a slender avantage.

All the stats were set up for us to get a result today.

The pressure was on them, but we could see from the first five or 10 minutes of the game that we were pulling out of challenges. They have wanted it more than us.

They've got the fans with them, they've got that belief, and they're deservedly 1-0 up.

  17. WHAT A SAVEpublished at 15:45 GMT 14 March

Despite being reduced to 10 men, Sheffield United have not stopped showing an attacking threat.

Japhet Tanganga heads towards Patrick Bamford who thinks he's levelled but James Beadle makes a fantastic save low down to keep him out.

Blades unlucky not to be level.
