  1. 'Blades will be frustrated'published at 21:34 GMT 21 January

    Southampton 1-0 Sheff Utd

    Brian Howard
Former Sheffield United midfielder on BBC Radio Sheffield

Sheff United have had chances in this second half and will be really frustrated if they go back up to Sheffield with nothing.

  2. Postpublished at 21:33 GMT 21 January

    Watford 1-1 Portsmouth

Into the final two minutes of normal time and the Hornets are pushing to complete the turnaround.

Sub Edo Kayembe has seen a shot deflected wide. Can Pompey hold on to exit the relegation zone?

  3. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:32 GMT 21 January

    Southampton 1-0 Sheff Utd

    is that the chance?

Patrick Bamford, December's Championship player of the month, capitalises on some slapstick Saints defending, drives into the box, cuts onto his right peg and fires in a low shot from 10 yards out which Daniel Peretz manages to block with his outstretched left boot.

Chris Wilder is in disbelief. He leaves his hands on his head for a full 30 seconds afterwards. If you wanted that chance to fall to anyone it was Bamford.

We'll have SIX added minutes at the end of this one.

  4. 'Adams is everywhere'published at 21:30 GMT 21 January

    Watford 1-1 Portsmouth

    Lee Brown
Former Portsmouth defender on BBC Radio Solent

Ebou Adams seems to be everywhere, sniffing out danger. In some terms he's seems to be underrated.

How many times have you seen it when you're trailing, get one back and the crowd are behind you. But Portsmouth have to tailor that.

  5. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:28 GMT 21 January

    Stoke 1-2 Middlesbrough

Stoke keeper Tommy Simkin hasn't had the perfect game but his strong hand on Aidan Morris' low, knifed strike keeps his side in this.

Middlesbrough are in full flight at the moment but if Stoke can just weather this storm, they've got plenty of time to make this even more interesting.

It's been a fairly quiet second half in terms of action in the final thirds and the fans in here are trying to keep themsleves entertained during a pause in play.

Quite a few of them around the ground have got their phones out and are waving their torches around.

Hopefully some excitement on the pitch in these final 15 minutes!

  7. 'Boro have come storming back'published at 21:25 GMT 21 January

    Stoke 1-2 Middlesbrough

    Mark Drury
    BBC Tees commentator

Having gone a goal down, Boro have come storming back.

  8. goal

GOAL: Watford 1-1 Portsmouthpublished at 21:24 GMT 21 January

    Mamadou Doumbia (79 mins)

Just like that, the Hornets are back on terms.

Portsmouth's lead lasted barely five minutes, and it ends in calamitous fashion.

Blues keeper Nico Schmid spills a cross from Rocco Vata and Luca Kjerrumgaard pokes the ball to sub Mamadou Doumbia to curl home.

They had scored in 17 straight games before Saturday's blank against Millwall. They'll be delighted to start a new streak tonight.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 21:24 GMT 21 January

    Southampton 1-0 Sheff Utd

Finn Azaz and Leo Scienza make way for the hosts with Jay Robinson and Shea Charles coming on.

Former Wednesday man Charles gets a predictable reception from the Blades fans.

Chris Wilder then brings Danny Ings, once of Southampton, on for Tom Cannon.

He had three years at St Mary's but the reception he gets from the Saints fans suggests they don't really care about that.

  10. goal

GOAL: Stoke 1-2 Middlesbroughpublished at 21:20 GMT 21 January

    Tommy Conway (59 mins)

    Boro have turned this around.

And it's on the turn that they've done so as a sharp pass from Alan Browne reaches Tommy Conway right in front of goal.

He has to twizzle himself 360 degrees but his final touch nestles in from close range.

Middlesbrough are back up to second in the Championship as it stands.

  11. 'Great finish by Segecic'published at 21:20 GMT 21 January

    Watford 0-1 Portsmouth

    Lee Brown
Former Portsmouth defender on BBC Radio Solent

It's a great finish in that near post area from Adrian Segecic. The keeper maybe should have done better but it's still a great finish.

  12. goal

GOAL Watford 0-1 Portsmouthpublished at 21:18 GMT 21 January

    Adrian Segecic (73 mins)

    ... as I said.

Pompey, with 17 minutes remaining, are looking at back-to-back away wins. Extraordinary.

Milli Alli battles to win possession and finds Conor Chaplin, who square for Adrian Segecic to fire past Egil Selvik and send the travelling fans wild.

Pompey are out of the relegation zone, as things stand, and Watford are out of the play-offs too.

  13. Postpublished at 21:17 GMT 21 January

    Watford 0-0 Portsmouth

Yes, it's still 0-0, but I have hope.

Luca Kjerrumgaard has seen a shot deflected over the top for the Hornets while Conor Chaplin threatened to break away at the other end until a timely intervention from James Abankwah.

  14. 'Blades have had better of second half'published at 21:17 GMT 21 January

    Southampton 1-0 Sheff Utd

    Adam Oxley
    BBC Radio Sheffield

The Southampton fans are in good voice.

Sheffield United have had the better of the second half but still trail.

  15. Postpublished at 21:15 GMT 21 January

    Southampton 1-0 Sheff Utd

Blades defender Mark McGuinness goes down in a heap and looks in some pain.

It looks like he might have popped his shoulder out of place momentarily in an aerial collision with Finn Azaz. Really innocuous but clearly painful as he's a warrior.

An impromptu team talk for the Blades while he gets treatment.

He'll be okay to continue. Tough sort.

  16. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:13 GMT 21 January

    Stoke 1-1 Middlesbrough

The stadium is furious as Boro right-back Luke Ayling catches Bosun Lawal in a sliding challenge.

He's shown a caution for it but while the card may not be red, the home fans have turned a shade of scarlet. Lawal doesn't look comfortable and this is a side who can barely afford the injuries they currently have.

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:12 GMT 21 January

    Southampton 1-0 Sheff Utd

Adam Armstrong clips an inviting cross from the right of the box to the far post where the on-rushing Leo Scienza executes a brilliant diving header which Keith Houchen (or Robin van Persie if you're under 50) would have been proud of.

He gets a lot of power on it but it's too close to Michael Cooper who parries away to his right.

  18. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:10 GMT 21 January

    Watford 0-0 Portsmouth

Half-chances at both ends as Adrian Segecic cuts in from the left and fires straight at Egil Selvik while Watford's Tom Ince has been denied by Nico Schmid at the other end.

Othmane Maamma has come off for the Hornets with Rocco Vata making his first appearance since November.

  19. 'Browne goal has changed feel'published at 21:10 GMT 21 January

    Stoke 1-1 Middlesbrough

    Mark Drury
    BBC Tees commentator

The whole feel of the evening has changed completely with that Alan Browne goal.

  20. 'Blades' energy levels have picked up'published at 21:09 GMT 21 January

    Southampton 1-0 Sheff Utd

    Brian Howard
Former Sheffield United midfielder on BBC Radio Sheffield

The energy levels have definitely picked up from Sheffield United.
