A standing ovation for Chris Wood as he makes his first City Ground appearance since October.

That came in Ange Postecoglou's last game against Chelsea and he never played for Sean Dyche.

  4. CLOSE!published at 15:25 BST 12 April

    Nottingham Forest 1-1 Aston Villa

    Morgan Rogers misses a sitter!

Matz Sels can only palm John McGinn's low strike back into the danger area, but Rogers somehow blazes over the bar from eight yards out.

  5. Postpublished at 15:25 BST 12 April

    Sunderland 1-0 Tottenham

Spurs are winless in each of their last 32 Premier League games when conceding first (D8 L24), since a 4-1 win against Aston Villa in November 2024.

  6. Postpublished at 15:24 BST 12 April

    Sunderland 1-0 Tottenham

A decision for the referee here. Spurs keeper Antonin Kinsky is down injured and the visiting team think Brian Brobbey should be shown a second yellow card for a push there. I don't think one is coming.

    Kinsky needs treatment.

Sometimes fate isn't on your side and it really feels it wasn't on Tottenham's side there. When you are down there nothing will help you, not even the gods. Brobbey's shot takes a gigantic deflection and it took an age to drift in.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:23 BST 12 April

    Sunderland 1-0 Tottenham

Mathys Tel, Joao Palhinha and Pape Matar Sarr are coming on for Spurs.

Richarlison, Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall are replaced.

They were going to make these changes before the goal.

Matz Sels is at full stretch to tip John McGinn's low curling strike past the post.

  12. Postpublished at 15:22 BST 12 April

    Crystal Palace 0-1 Newcastle

Sustained spell of pressure from Newcastle. Crystal Palace's Yeremy Pino barges into the back of Tino Livramento but escapes a yellow card.

Moments later, Pino is in possession of the ball inside the box and looks to curl one into the top corner. But his effort lacks precision and goes over Aaron Ramsdale's cross.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:22 BST 12 April

    Nottingham Forest 1-1 Aston Villa

    What a save!

Igor Jesus stabs a shot goalward from inside the box, it deflects off Matty Cash and somehow Marco Bizot gets his leg to it despite being completely off bance. Great reactions from the Villa goalkeeper.

GOAL - Sunderland 1-0 Tottenhampublished at 15:20 BST 12 April

    Nordi Mukiele (61 mins)

    Wow.

Sunderland take the lead. Nordi Mukiele cuts in from the right and rides a tackle before shooting from 20 yards out.

It takes a huge deflection off Micky van de Ven and loops into the back of the net with Antonin Kinsky completely caught out by that change of direction.

Tim: So many below par displays in this Spurs team this season. You wonder if many of these players are already eyeing their next move away even if Spurs aren’t relegated.

  16. Postpublished at 15:20 BST 12 April

Pedro Porro picks out Richarlison in space with a wonderful diagonal ping but the Brazilian's shot inside the box is weak and easily saved by Robin Roefs.

  20. 'Udogie and Porro have done a decent job on the Sunderland wide players'published at 15:17 BST 12 April

I really do like Le Fee and Rigg, both are really lovely creative players, but they've not had a great impact on this game. When they've got the ball in the final third they have been generally marked very well. The Spurs full-backs Porro and Udogie have done a pretty decent job on the Sunderland wide players.
