I'm not sure the experiment of Ait-Nouri at right-back has worked tonight.

Last two games have clearly been a sign that something inside the club needs changing, two seasons in a row we’ve been rocked. It’s not right.

Manchester City will not want a repeat of last year where they ended up having to face Real Madrid in the play-offs. They will want that top-eight spot.

This result likely leaves them needing something at home to Galatasaray next week to make that happen.

The master plan from the Bodo coach has been exceptional.

Attack City when you can but when City have the ball, drop into your defensive shape, compact, and if you're going to allow City anywhere, let them on the outside.

When you have the ball, make sure you go and attack them.

Pep Guardiola turns to his bench.

Omar Marmoush is going to come on for Phil Foden. Another disappointing evening without a goal for the England international.

I honestly believe as a City fan that Pep needs to leave. I know I will get slaughtered for saying that but we have been poor for a long time now. We are also so, so boring to watch and refuse to counter attack, playing slow backwards passes.

Well Manchester City might have thought they had a chance to get back into this when Rayan Cherki's goal went in but down to 10 men just minutes later this is a real uphill battle.

There were just 53 seconds between Rodri's first and second bookings.

He has never received a red card in the Champions League before.

It's brilliant from Hauge, the way he bends the ball and it hits the crossbar.

They are putting Manchester City to the sword.

Again, Bodo/Glimt have the ball in the back of the net but it is disallowed.

The ball in behind is nodded down and shifted across for Kasper Hogh but the forward was offside.

No question of the hosts sitting back, though.

I've got to say I don't think Rodri can have any complaints. Rodri pulls Blomberg back. Manchester City lose the ball and he's walking off now.

He had to go. I don't know how many seconds there were between the first and second one. It's reckless from Rodri.

Definite second yellow card as well. He grabs him around the neck and I saw it coming a mile off. He's got all the experience in the world and he's a tiny bit naive there.

Now his team's right in a hole. 54 seconds between the two yellows.

  15. RED CARD - Rodripublished at 19:03 GMT 20 January

    Bodo/Glimt 3-1 Man City

    You just couldn't write this!

Rodri was booked for a trip on Hakon Evjen and what felt like just a minute or so later he is shown a second yellow for pulling back the defender.

He can't really have any arguments but Manchester City will be fuming. Just as they thought they were getting back into it they're down to 10!

    GOAL - Bodo/Glimt 3-1 Man Citypublished at 19:01 GMT 20 January

    Rayan Cherki (60 mins)

    Instant response!

Bodo/Glimt can't get the ball clear and Nico O'Reilly holds it on the edge of the penalty box until the advancing Rayan Cherki runs onto it and unleashes a low drive into the bottom corner.

It takes a slight deflection on the way through but City won't care.

That is an individual goal of pure brilliance. All his own making.

What a goal! Who expected this tonight?!

Rodri loses the ball in the middle of the park and it comes to Jens Petter Hauge, who drives forward and lets fly with a superb strike into the top corner.

    Curling finish, absolutely lovely goal.

I'll be stunned if City don't score in this game. They've got to find a way to produce a moment of magic and that will be the worry for Bodo.

But then again, Bodo aren't the kind of team to sit on a lead - they'll give it a go.
