    Bodo/Glimt 2-0 Man City

I think it's fair to say, based on evidence from tonight and Saturday's defeat by Manchester United, that if Rodri has a poor game, City tend to have a poor game.

The worry for Manchester City is Rodri just turned like one of the ferries we saw on the harbour this morning.

    Check over, disallowed goal.

Moral of the story is still that it is far too easy to get in behind this Manchester City defence.

The Bodo players were so anxious to get into the box, you could see them running into the offside position but it's worth playing that pass over the top.

Rodri looks like an old man turning like that. I think Kasper Hogh is onside and is saying leave it to me.

Hakon Evjen takes it but could've left it for Hogh to get his hat-trick.

  6. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 18:54 GMT 20 January

    Bodo/Glimt 2-0 Man City

Bodo/Glimt have the ball in the back of the net again as Hakon Evjen slots home but the flag goes up for offside.

It's tight but I think City definitely thought he was offside. VAR will have a look.

Haaland's fuming, he's absolutely fuming. He's asking the question of his team-mates - can you get me the ball? Can you get me some service?

Bodo are so unlucky. What a save by Donnarumma. Evjen's first touch is brilliant. He should score.

    City were nearly three down.

People need to calm down here, the result isn't great but City are well placed in the league and as we know from last year this league isn't about winning every game

  10. GREAT SAVE!published at 18:51 GMT 20 January

    Bodo/Glimt 2-0 Man City

    Goodness me.

Bodo/Glimt have had so many chances to make it three.

Hakon Evjen has an opportunity at the near post after another promising counter attack but Gianluigi Donnarumma sticks out his leg to make a big save.

I mean, City dominated the ball in the first half. 73% currently to Bodo/Glimt's 27%.

No changes for either side. Perhaps somewhat surprisingly for Pep Guardiola's side.

When it comes to experienced defenders, the Spaniard really only has Nathan Ake on the bench.

And in terms of attacking players, Jeremy Doku and Omar Marmoush are perhaps the biggest threats.

  15. KICK-OFFpublished at 18:46 GMT 20 January

A lot for Manchester City to do.

    HT: Bodo/Glimt 2-0 Man City

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live at Aspmyra Stadion

Bodo have been absolutely first class, the way they've set up and sat deep at times, but when they've gone forward they've gone forward at pace and caused Man City all sorts of problems at the back. The City back line have really struggled.

Man City have a lot of work to do in the second half. You can't say it's a weak team. Pep Guardiola has gone strong.

For a team who haven't played a competitive games in 40 odd days, Bodo/Glimt have been excellent. They look sharp and not rusty. Quite remarkable.

    Stevie, Glasgow

Just a reminder that the Etihad Stadium can fit more people than live in Bodo, yet Man City are being outplayed 2–0. Football is just brilliant, isn't it?

It was 3v2 [for Bodo's second goal]. How did Bodo have three attacking players and City have two defensive players back?

I was talking earlier about desire and reaction but also, to help a young lad out - yes it was a poor decision by Alleyne [in the build-up] but you need players around you to help and dig you out of a hole but they're not there.

Is Pep Guardiola's tenure coming to an end?

The Spaniard has seemed more positive this season than last but results of late have been poor and their title push appears to be ebbing away.

Pretty obvious that Pep's tenure is coming to a close. Recent performances will tell anyone that

    Andrew, Manchester

Whisper it quietly, but is it time for Pep to go? Football has evolved and left him behind, like it did to Wenger, Mourinho etc. City need fresh ideas.
