1. HALF-TIME Aberdeen 0-1 Strasbourgpublished at 20:49 GMT 11 December 2025

That's not been a bad half from Aberdeen. Certainly not one they deserve to be behind after.

Mats Knoester had Jimmy Thelin's side ahead with a back-post header, but it was ruled out for handball.

Against the run of play, Strasbourg went ahead with Martial Godo's slick strike.

As it stands, the Dons are out of the Conference League.

Arne Engels goes down, kinda slipping, but he's also slightly tugged by Mario Hermoso.

Soft but a lifeline for Celtic...

    Uh oh...

That's an outstanding touch and finish from on-loan Brighton man Evan Ferguson, who spins and unleashes a Roma third.

    All so easy again, though.

Sebastian Tounekti finds Kieran Tierney underlapping and the Scotland defender attempts to put a low cross into the box, but it's cut out.

  6. CLOSE!published at 20:43 GMT 11 December 2025

    Aberdeen 0-1 Strasbourg

Mats Knoester rises again to meet a corner, but this one is from deep and it's got some power behind it.

It's a save Mike Penders should be making in the away goal, but it's good again from Aberdeen.

Dylan Lobban has been lively down the right and he's not far away from an Aberdeen equaliser, but it's out for a corner.

The Dons are far from down and out.

It's been coming since the first. No surprise whatsoever to see Roma double their lead.

They have totally dominated a Celtic side who've been as poor in this first half as they have been all season.

The curious thing is that manager Wilfried Nancy has been watching the carnage unfold completely impassively and hasn't felt the need to change a thing.

If that continues to be the case, Roma can score as many as they want this evening.

That is a sucker-punch for Aberdeen.

Right against the run of play.

How Wilfried Nancy manages this will be fascinating. It's very clear he needs to make changes. This is not working as things stand.

Celtic are being totally over-run and out-pressed by a Roma side that cannot believe they are only a goal up.

That is the saving grace for the home side at the moment. They are, however, badly imbalanced at the moment and the new boss surely needs to make major changes, never mind minor tweaks.

If he doesn't, this is only going one way.

Aberdeen really should be in front here.

Strasbourg are dilly-dallying on the edge of their own box, and home attacker Adil Aouchiche pinches possession and hits a thunderous first-time strike.

    It grazes just inches wide.

If the definition of madness is doing the same thing and expecting a different result, then Celtic have lost it.

Time after time, a ball from goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel into the middle of the park is pick-pocketed by Roma.

From the latest example, Evan Ferguson hits the post when he should have hit the target.

Celtic are hanging on for dear life here. The lack of urgency and intensity is puzzling.
