  4. Nisbet to rescuepublished at 15:59 GMT 24 January

    HT: Aberdeen 3-2 Livingston

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland at Pittodrie

I wasn't bracing myself for an entertaining affair, but this has been bonkers entertainment.

Good goals, VAR controversy and some dreadful defending - what is not to like?

Aberdeen have been very good - but their defending for the two Livi goals was dreadful.

Kevin Nisbet has bailed them out with a stoppage-time double, benefitting from the ammunition that has been in very short supply for him over the course of the season until now.

  5. HALF-TIME Aberdeen 3-2 Livingstonpublished at 15:57 GMT 24 January

We were preparing to tell you the news that, as things stood, Livingston were off the bottom. Then Kevin Nisbet scored twice and everything got torn up.

Four goals, some dreadful defending, and plenty of controversy for good measure.

Aberdeen looked to be 2-0 up before Nisbet had a strike ruled out controversially for offside. Livingston then scored two to flip the game and it looked set to be another miserable day for the home fans at Pittodrie.

But Nisbet was in the right place at the right time against to strike twice and put the Dons back in front.

  6. HALF TIME Falkirk 2-0 Hibernianpublished at 15:56 GMT 24 January

    HT: Falkirk 2-0 Hibernian

A dominant display from the hosts as Barney Stewart's double gives Falkirk a healthy lead at the break - and deservingly so.

On both occasions, Falkirk winger Calvin Miller did all the dirty work on the left-hand side, setting Stewart up for two easy tap-ins.

Hibs have yet to show a positive reaction from last weekend's cup defeat as John McGlynn's side have been relentless in all areas.

  7. goal

GOAL ABERDEEN 3-2 Livingstonpublished at 15:53 GMT 24 January

    Kevin Nisbet

It's raining goals at Pittodrie - and for Kevin Nisbet.

It's almost a carbon copy of the second goal. This time it's Topi Keskinen who slides a ball across the box and Nisbet, unmarked, tucks away.

There's a very quick check for offside, but the goal stands.

  8. Uphill battle for Killiepublished at 15:52 GMT 24 January

    HT: Motherwell 2-0 Kilmarnock

    Brian McLauchlin
BBC Sport Scotland at Fir Park

The home crowd rightly give their players a standing ovation as they go off to enjoy their half-time cup of tea.

And, with Killie now reduced to 10 men, the visitors have a mountain to climb if they are to rally anything from the game.

  9. goal

GOAL ABERDEEN 2-2 Livingstonpublished at 15:50 GMT 24 January

    Kevin Nisbet

Kevin Nisbet - and no VAR check this time!

It's a brilliant ball in from the left, from the boot of young Mitchell Frame on his full Aberdeen debut. He puts it on a plate for Nisbet, who scores from six yards out.

Could the keeper do better? It flies right past him.

  10. Falkirk fully deserve two goal cushionpublished at 15:49 GMT 24 January

    HT Falkirk 2-0 Hibernian

    Martin Dowden
BBC Sport Scotland at Falkirk Stadium

There's no argument Falkirk don't deserve to be ahead. It's arguable it should be more than two. They have totally exposed Hibs throughout.

They know exactly what they're doing, play some great football and create chances.

Hibs have looked a distant second best. A bad week is quickly getting worse.

  11. HALF-TIME Motherwell 2-0 Kilmarnockpublished at 15:49 GMT 24 January

Motherwell in total control at the break after that action-packed end to the half.

Both their goals were the result of superb football and their fine home record is set to continue.

Killie boss Neil McCann was booked for dissent after Tawanda Maswanhise doubled Motherwell's advantage.

Home defender Nicky Devlin is now into the book as well, for wiping out Conor McLennan who was trying to break away for Livingston.

    A real flurry.

Seven minutes of additional time as well.

  15. Postpublished at 15:46 GMT 24 January

    Aberdeen 1-2 Livingston

A couple of yellow cards flashed to both sides.

Macaulay Tait is cautioned for a tackle from behind on Nicky Devlin and then Aberdeen's Mats Knoester reacts angrily to a decision made by referee Ross Hardie. Classic dissent.

  16. goal

GOAL MOTHERWELL 2-0 Kilmarnockpublished at 15:46 GMT 24 January

    Tawanda Maswanhise

It's all going wrong for Kilmarnock.

Tom Sparrow gets away down the right and picks out Tawanda Maswanhise, who finds the bottom corner with a fine volley.

The goal came just 47 seconds after Tom Lowery was dismissed.

  17. RED CARD Lowery (Kilmarnock)published at 15:45 GMT 24 January

    Motherwell 1-0 Kilmarnock

Kilmarnock midfielder Tom Lowery takes out Tawanda Maswanhise and picks up his second yellow card.

A massive uphill battle for the visitors now.

  18. goal

GOAL FALKIRK 2-0 Hibernianpublished at 15:44 GMT 24 January

    Barney Stewart

    Barney Stewart at the double!

Almost a carbon copy of his first strike.

Calvin Miller again does well to skip past the Hibs defense, finds Stewart who slips it past Sallinger to extend Falkirk's lead just before the break.

  20. CLOSE!published at 15:42 GMT 24 January

    Motherwell 1-0 Kilmarnock

More wonderful build-up play from Motherwell, but in-form forward Tawanda Maswanhise puts his header wide.
