Semi Ajayi gives the ball away to Ismael Saibari, but a superb recovery tackle blocks the Morocco man's shot.

The home fans were ready to explode if that one went in.

The referee's whistle was greeted with scarves being twirled, giant flags waved and big chunks of the crowd bouncing in union.

This could be the best Nigeria side since the 90's. They have scored 14 goals already in this Afcon, the record is 16, and they are averaging 2.5 goals per game, so they should beat the record. I would say that they have even underperformed - they have created enough chances to have scored 20.
