Josh Rock talking to Sky Sports: "I had to show my emotions - relief is an understatement. I'm up there to win as much as I can and it just hasn't happened in the first seven weeks but I am on the board now.

"Yes, Jonny didn't play up to scratch but neither did I. I was trying too hard because I wanted to win. I proved it in the end."

It wasn't a great game but Josh Rock got over the line.

He relied on a few misses from Jonny Clayton but he showed his mental attitude to just keep fighting.

The nine-darter in Belfast masked how bad his form was. It wasn't the best performance but it is a win. Hopefully he can relax now. It is a monkey off his back and hopefully he can march on.

We're down to our final four in Berlin but who'll walk away with the trophy?

Gerwyn Price will be fired up for that one against Luke Littler, but we start with Josh Rock taking on Michael van Gerwen after both had welcome wins earlier.

MVG grabbed a first win since night two and Rock his first win of the season! Plenty to play for...

Gerwyn Price was good but Gian van Veen was off the pace and we expected him to be. Spending six days in hospital does take it out of you. Who knows how important that leg could be come the end of the league phase. Full credit to him for getting up on the stage.

It was ruthless and efficient from Gerwyn Price.

Credit Gian van Veen for turning up and giving it a go but Gerwyn Price was exactly what he said he'd be tonight and that's ruthless.

Price takes out 78 to finish off the job in clinical fashion, as he has been for most of the match - where he averaged 101.56 with three 180s and a 60% checkout rate.

To ba fair to Van Veen he could not keep pace with the scoring of Price, averaging just 91 himself, but he did have that nice 113 checkout where he hit the only attempt at a double he had in the match.

Gian van Veen stays in the match and avoids the whitewash by taking out a lovely 113 on double 18 to make it 5-1.

Gerwyn Price had a dart for the match on a 112 outshot but missed his chance.

Gian van Veen came here to avoid getting a 6-0 defeat for withdrawing. There's a real chance he could be faced with that anyway.

Again Gerwyn Price answers a Gian van Veen 180 with one of his own and goes on to win yet another leg to go one away from a 6-0 whitewash.

And it was a break of throw too so Price is throwing for the match.

It has been an efficient display by Gerwyn Price against a sub-par Gian van Veen.

Gerwyn Price beat Josh Rock 6-0 lead week and he's looking for another whitewash here as he takes the fourth leg without reply so far by Gian van Veen.

Gian van Veen opens up with a 180 but Gerwyn Price matches it and when the Dutchman can't take out 141 Price very much can take out 130 - finishing it off with a bull that's right in the centre of the bed.

That's a clinical finish to go three ahead.

GIan van Veen just struggling to keep pace with Gerwyn Price so even a bounce out can't stop the Welshman getting to a finish first.

And when he does he makes no mistake taking out 68 to double his lead.

Gerwyn Price misses two doubles but Gian van Veen is naturally a bit rusty so makes a mess of taking out 101 enabling The Iceman to return to break the throw right away.

Right then, the last quarter-final. Will Gian van Veen get over kidney stones surgery better than Gerwyn Price gets over throwing away a 5-0 lead last week?

"I think he'll play his best game and that is how I need to prepare myself and concentrate and prepare for my own game. I hope his health is all good but I'm out to pick up points and be ruthless."
