Michal van Gerwen has looked a little bit more likely recently. He looks more composed under pressure.

It is hard to see a drop off from Luke Littler though. He has looked business-like focused tonight.

I just feel like if anyone is going to have a lull in this game it will be Van Gerwen.

These two played out an all-time classic last week when they both reeled in the Big Fish with 170 finishes each in the space of a few legs in a titanic struggle in Dublin.

It's 2-1 to Luke Littler in Premier League meetings so far this season, but Michael van Gerwen has won three of the last seven so while the overall record is well in the 19-year-old's favour the Dutchman has held his own more recently.

And after all, Mighty Mike is a seven-time Premier League champion so he'll want to show he's still the man for the big occasion, but Littler has looked at his very best tonight.

It was unbelievable stuff from Luke Littler.

He's just got a bit of everything at the moment.

There it is! Luke Littler makes no mistake on his own throw to take out 81 and seal yet another victory over Gerwyn Price.

That's just classic Littler, who just stepped on the gas at the right time to win the last three legs of the match - the last of them coming in just 11 darts on his own throw, beat that!

No way! Luke Littler storms to a finish but then fails to ake out 10 leaving Gerwyn Price the chance to finish off 88 to hold his throw - but he can't do it.

So Littler can return to claim the first break of throw of the match at the worst possible time for Price.

Luke Littler with a 140 and a 180 to take that leg with ease as he now goes looking for a crucial break in the next leg.

That is simply sensational. Nothing short of sensational.

He looked certain to lose that leg.

The first roar and fist pump of the night from Gerwyn Price as he checks out 152 to stay ahead of Luke Littler.

Littler had the leg at his mercy when needing just 54 after both men hit 180s, but Price pulled out the big finish just when he needed it to hold his throw.

We're going with throw still as both men play well enough when they have to darts to keep their opponent at arm's length.

Gerwyn Price is playing well here, averaging 104. It is tough to do business with.

A 14-dart leg is enough on throw to move Gerwyn Price back in front again. This is shaping up to be another thriller but in a much more convential manner than last week...

A late 180 for Gerwyn Price is not enough as Luke Littler was sat on 40 so takes that out to level up the match once again.

It is a chore to beat Luke Littler, there is no doubt about that.

Pretty smooth 70 checkout for Gerwyn Price puts him back in front with a hold of throw.

Luke Littler put some late pressure on when Price decided against trying to take out 164, but luckily for him it didn't cost him.

Gerwyn Price misses his beloved tops to pinch a break after Luke Littler had made a huge mess of trying to finish off 72.

The Nuke can return for double 10 though and he doesn't miss too many of those.

Brilliant start by Gerwyn Price who hits tops at the thirs attempt to cap a 15-dart leg, that will settle him down as he looks to avenge last week's final defeat.

I wonder how calm he'll be if he gets 5-0 ahead again?
