Quite unbelievable that Callan Rydz is up on that stage tonight. He sadly lost his grandad over Christmas but is somehow finding the strength to be up there in this third round match.

Callan Rydz is well in control with just 38 to hit but he misses the double eight.

Josh Rock can't take out the big fish and back Rydz comes to take the set.

Josh Rock bangs in the first 180 of the match to leave 120 with Callan Rydz on 142.

Rydz leaves 58 but Rock hits tops to get a leg on the board.

Rock can't buy a double at the moment so back comes Rydz and takes another leg.

That leg turned into a real slugfest.

Callan Rydz can't touch the 116 and leaves 56 but Josh Rock makes a right mess of the double.

After more misses each, Rydz comes back and takes an early lead as the crowd chants his name.
