That is absolutely unbelievable from Josh Rock. If you're going to silence the crowd then that is the way to do it. Beautiful.

  6. 'Rock will want to put first win to bed'published at 19:44 GMT 19 February

    Humphries v Rock

Luke Humphries talking to Sky Sports: "I'm expecting a tough game. The way he played last week is something you don't associate with Josh Rock and he's going to want to pick up his first points. Every time you don't pick up points the job becomes harder and harder. He's going to want to put that to bed quite quickly. I'm expecting a tough fight tonight because he's got good support tonight.

"But if I keep playing how i am and hitting those doubles it is going to be a tough game for Josh as well."

Luke Humphries hasn't made it to the final in any week so far, but it's not for lack of trying.

He was beaten by Luke Littler in the quarters last time out, but Humphries was arguably the better player for the majority of the game and should really have wrapped it up having been comfortably in the lead before going on to lose 6-5.

On night one, he lost 6-2 to night winner Michael van Gerwen in the semi-finals.

He takes on Josh Rock tonight, who is yet to win a match in his debut season.

Stephen Bunting is playing some decent stuff but he needs a win badly.

I've been there and all you do is chase. Every game becomes a chore.

The bad experiences of last year are OK but it is a negative.

    Nearly...

Stephen Bunting hits the two trebles needed, but strays into the outer bull as he looks to take out 170.

I was very impressed with Gian van Veen in the first couple of weeks.

We've seen on many occasions that this event and format doesn't suit many players but he just seems at home.
