There isn't much zip in the Gerwyn Price throw at the moment.

He's just following through at on speed - he's got to improve that.

His snap and action has completely gone. He needs to take a beat.

  8. 'Vital to pick up two points'published at 19:42 BST 30 April

    Bunting v Price

Gerwyn Price talking to Sky Sports: "It is vital to pick up some points now, especially with the chasing pack with players really close. There are players that can push really close from outside the play-off spots.

"It is vital to pick up two points this week and then I'm playing Michael [van Gerwen] next week so it's vital I get some points.

"I think next week is probably the crunch week but if I pick up some points it will be less pressure next week."

Gerwyn Price will swap darts for a cue to compete in the 2026 UK Open Pool Championship.

'The Iceman', the 2021 darts world champion who is seventh in the PDC's order of merit, played at last year's Mosconi Cup, competing in an exhibition pro-am pool event at Alexandra Palace.

The UK Open will be staged at the Brentwood Centre in Essex from 25-30 May, although the final night of the 2026 Premier League Darts takes place at the O2 in London on 28 May and could potentially see a fixture clash.

  10. 'I need to win two more nights'published at 19:41 BST 30 April

    Bunting v Price

Stephen Bunting talking to Sky Sports on what changes in his mindset now: "The need to win. The want to win is always there but the need to win is getting more desperate each event. I want to be in London so I know what I need to do.

"Qualifying for London is the main agenda at the moment to be honest at the moment. I seem to be playing my best darts in the Premier League so hopefully that continues and I start picking up wins.

"I think I need to win two nights out of the four remaining. I don't want to put too much pressure on myself but at the same time I probably am."

When he won in Manchester, Gerwyn Price was the form man in the Premier League and securing a play-off spot seemed a formality.

However, three quarter-final losses in a row has allowed the chasing pack to make up some ground.

Gezzy will still be confident of finishing in the top four but could do with a win or two to ease any nerves heading into the last few weeks.

Stephen Bunting is eight points back of Price, seven shy of fourth and an outsider to make the play-offs.

However, a good couple of weeks and things could look very different. It's now or never for The Bullet.

    Result: Rock 3-6 Littler

It felt like a game that never really got going but when you look at the numbers, it was a high quality match.

Luke Littler averaged 105.86 without breaking a sweat with three 180s and a checkout percentage of 46.15.

Josh Rock wasn't too far behind, averaging 101.25 and also hit three 180s.

He was a perfect three for three on the outer ring but the scoring of Littler meant he didn't have more chances to show off his clinical finishing.

    Breaking

    Rock 3-6 Littler

Luke Littler hits double top to secure the win and close the gap on Jonny Clayton at the top.

It's a superb leg from both players, Josh Rock hitting a 180 on his first visit only for Littler to responds with maximums on his next two.

A good effort from Rock but he missed his chance to break, Littler didn't and the world champ goes into the semis.

He is going to take some beating tonight.

    Rock 3-4 Littler

First chance of a break, really, as Josh Rock starts with a 180 and gets himself a shot at 90.

However, he strays into the one and doesn't even get a shot at a double.

Luke Littler just missed bull for a 132 out but comes back for another 14-dart hold.

  18. Postpublished at 19:30 BST 30 April

    Rock 3-3 Littler

Clinical finish from Josh Rock. Just two darts needed to take out 64.

We're all square again. No signs of a break as yet.

  19. Still on throw...published at 19:28 BST 30 April

    Rock 2-3 Littler

Luke Littler is down to a finish in nine darts and has the chance for an 11-darter.

Two misses on double 12 allow Josh Rock to come back into it, leaving himself 36, but he won't get a look at it as Littler retakes the lead by hitting double 12 at the third attempt.

  20. Postpublished at 19:27 BST 30 April

    Rock 2-2 Littler

Josh Rock his best to provide a few fireworks as he hits the first 180 of the match.

He dominates the leg but Luke Littler hangs around and leaves himself that 170 - big fish finish - and we know how much he loves it...

Not this time. Rock hits tops to level it up.
