Gian van Veen was the standout player in the quarter-finals for me.

Time for the second semi-final and it's another big one in the race for the play-off places.

Luke Littler didn't hit the heights he managed in the quarters but he didn't have to.

An average of 98.34, four 180s and a checkout percentage of 46.15%.

As for Gerwyn Price, there were only brief flashes of what he can do as he averaged 94.18 and hit just one of his five darts at double.

Luke Littler needs three goes at the double eight but gets it in the end and he is closing in on a sixth Premier League final this year.

Gerwyn Price has picked up a bit but the way Littler's playing, I don't expect this will last much longer.

The Welshman needed that with Luke Littler looking so at ease.

I don't want to write Gerwyn Price off just yet, especially give how he fought back to beat Stephen Bunting, but Luke Littler is in complete control.

He's just unbelievable and very measured.
