A massive moment because Clayton was waiting to pounce on tops.

This is tight. Both players are good on their throws, struggling against the throw.

Jonny Clayton sees off 64 to win the seventh leg.

    Bunting 3-3 Clayton

A 15-dart hold of throw from Stephen Bunting.

He is a long way from hitting tops with his first dart, but then pins double 10.

If this pattern continues, Clayton will progress. Bunting needs to find a way to break Clayton.

    Bunting 2-3 Clayton

Five perfect darts to start the leg for Jonny Clayton, but his sixth strays into the single.

He has 98 left with Stephen Bunting back on 243, so it doesn't matter that he only scores 58 to leave tops.

Bunting applies the pressure by finding a maximum, but Clayton takes out double 20 in two darts.

Just like in the last game, both players have been inconsistent so far.

Stephen Bunting gets down to 110, Jonny Clayton is waiting on 160.

Bunting scores just 25, while Clayton scores 100 to leave 60.

It doesn't matter, though, as Bunting finishes off the remaining 85.

    Bunting 1-2 Clayton

Unlucky, Stephen. An early bounce-out isn't what you want when your scoring hasn't been excellent.

Jonny Clayton has 40 remaining. Bunting throws his three but is still stranded back on 205.

One dart at tops goes inside, one at double 10 goes inside, but Clayton finishes on double five.

    Bunting 1-1 Clayton

Oooh! Stephen Bunting nearly takes out 127, but hits the single as he searches for the bullseye.

Jonny Clayton is still not down to a finish, so Bunting sees off the remaining 25.

    Bunting 0-1 Clayton

An electric reception for Stephen Bunting, not exactly electric darts from him though.

He manages to get down to 60 and leave a finish, while Jonny Clayton has 32 left. Clayton misses three darts at a double.

Bunting finds the 20, but can't hit tops. Clayton then checks out on double two.

For me, Jonny's finishing has been on point. He can finish in three darts from any position. He's taking his chances.

Other players in the field are creating chances and not taking them, but Jonny is and that's why he's top of the table.

Liverpool triumphed in the Merseyside derby against Everton last weekend just up the road at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

And there will be another Red winning this next quarter-final.

Stephen Bunting is the local hero and a supporter of the Anfield men, while Welshman Jonny Clayton also supports Arne Slot’s team.

But the local fans will only be cheering one man.

Jonny Clayton says having won back-to-back nights puts a smile on his face going into tonight's event in Liverpool.

He first faces seventh-placed Stephen Bunting, who will have the advantage of a home crowd.

"We're all out to win nights and get points, so two nightly wins on the trot is great - it puts a smile on my face," said Clayton.

"I don't give up. I've been behind a few times and still came through and won.

"Twenty-nine points is a good score to be on. Hopefully it's enough for the play-offs and I'm there.

"I've got five weeks left and hopefully I can win five of them!"
