Just a couple of singles from the over, although it takes some good fielding in the deep to prevent Tammy Beaumont finding the boundary with a crunching pull shot.

Amy Jones is showing Marizanne Kapp plenty of respect, taking no chances just yet.

She hammers a straight drive but the bowler gets down to make the stop before a push into the covers denies Kapp a maiden.

Tammy Beaumont and Amy Jones could have gone a bit harder but I can understand that they will want some time in the middle and to get used to the surface.

They could have been more aggressive, but the pitch is two-paced.

Too short from Chloe Tryon and Amy Jones goes back and thumps the ball to the left of mid-off.

The fielder gets a hand to it with an attempted diving stop but it's not enough to prevent the ball reaching the boundary.

All South Africa can do after this is wipe the slate clean and start all over again. There is not much that they can take from this performance.

A single to end the over, England are ticking along calmly enough.

The fact we're talking about when, not if, they will win tells you that this has been an extremely impressive start to the tournament for Charlotte Edwards' side.

South Africa need wickets so when Marizanne Kapp hits Tammy Beaumont on the front pad, they waste little time in calling for a review for lbw.

Beaumont doesn't seem too concerned. I think she got her pad outside the line.

At the current rate, England will have the game won in about 15 overs. Is that quick enough to be a statement?
