That's all from us today, thank you for your company as always!

Australia have cruised to the final, as predicted, in front of a crowd of 10,023 at The Oval - very impressive considering the 14:30 midweek timing.

Make sure you join us on Thursday as we find out who joins the six-time champions.

England are unbeaten and they take on South Africa at 18:30 BST. Nat Sciver-Brunt's side lost to South Africa in the 50-over World Cup semis last year, so don't miss it - we should be in for a cracker.

  2. Perry should be 'more than OK' for finalpublished at 17:49 BST

Australia captain Sophie Molineux: "T20 World Cup, you just have to ride it. It's full of momentum swings, but I've really enjoyed it and the group have really enjoyed it.

"We've stopped ourselves thinking too far ahead, but now we can think about the final which is pretty cool.

"I had no idea [about the Dottin situation].

"I thought we bowled really well. We held our nerve and then we wanted to get it done as quickly as possible, and Moons and Ash were clinical.

"Just some quad awareness [for Ellyse Perry], but it sounds like she'll be more than OK to go on Sunday.

"I'm looking forward to a good night's sleep and we'll make sure we celebrate what has been a good two weeks for the group.

"Rest, recover and then build up without playing the game over and over too much in our heads."

  3. Dottin situation 'a bit scary'published at 17:48 BST

West Indies captain Hayley Matthews: "I feel like we didn't have our best game or play to our full potential for the entire tournament.

"We weren't able to execute a full team performance in any of the matches."

On Deandra Dottin's pre-match injury: "It was a bit scary. She's a massive fighter and someone you never see go down. To see her almost passing out like that after the anthem was a bit scary. A bit of a medical emergency, but it shows how much of a fighter she is that she came back out and threw a few punches at the Aussies.

"We wanted to get off to a good start and I probably put myself under a bit of pressure. It was a difficult one for me to assess - we needed to get the run rate up but I also needed to stay at the crease.

"As a group we can still hold our heads high. We had some bright sparks. We didn't have any standout performances, so everyone had to chip in. We probably missed someone having a really big tournament, but we have a lot more people playing roles now."

The one minor concern for Australia was Ellyse Perry, who went off with quad tightness while she was batting.

Not that it bothered them in the slightest, as Gardner and Beth Mooney coasted to victory - the latter finishing 61 not out after a 29-ball fifty, her fastest in international T20s.

It just shows the extent of Australia's depth compared to other teams. West Indies were without Deandra Dottin for the first part of their innings and it set them back significantly.

Player of the match Ash Gardner: "A bit of momentum always helps. We knew it was going to be a nice wicket and really pleasing to get the win.

"I feel like I haven't had an impact with the ball in this tournament, so to save my best until now was really pleasing.

"The wicket was quite inconsistent in terms of bounce so it was just about keeping the stumps in play. Dots and ones are important too, against a team who want to hit boundaries.

"Confidence is a big one for me with bat in hand. It's being able to use the first six balls, running hard and hopefully boundaries come after that."

Ash Gardner is named player of the match for Australia, having taken 2-13 with the ball and whacked an unbeaten 35 from 20 in the chase.

Australia's win is the biggest in terms of balls remaining (42) in a Women's T20 World Cup knockout match.

    Ruthless.

What a massively disappointing and underwhelming game of cricket.

I just feel sad, because the crowd here and everyone watching expected more.

The best version of the West Indies is a lot better than that.

It felt more like to me that Australia played their semi-final against India.

Sunday will be Australia's eighth T20 World Cup final.

They have won it six times, and lost once to West Indies in 2016, which is hard to believe considering the complete mismatch we have seen from the two teams today.

We'll know by the end of Thursday whether it'll be England or South Africa taking them on...

It was a brilliant chase from Australia.

They were dominant and going into a final, a performance like that gives them confidence. They have a long old wait until that final now on Sunday.

I have no doubt that whatever happened to Deandra Dottin rattled the West Indies. They weren't themselves in that first innings.

    An absolute hammering.

Australia have strolled into the Women's T20 World Cup final at a canter.

Ash Gardner seals the victory in style by flicking the ball off her legs for four, another piece of effortless timing.

West Indies' misery continues. Aaliyah Alleyne knocks off the bails with her knee as she bowls, so it's called a no-ball and a free hit.

  13. Aus 121-2published at 12.3 overs

    Oh, that's delightful.

The ball is pinging from the middle over Ash Gardner's bat as she plays a lofted drive down the ground for four, holding the pose for good effect too.

    They're one hit away.

Beth Mooney just seems to go from one team to another so effortlessly.

No matter where she is, she just churns and churns and churns.

She hits the ball in all areas and finds herself accumulating quickly.

Just another classic shot, timed well.

Beth Mooney just showing how good this pitch is, without having to do too much.

She just loves runs. She's obsessed with batting and winning.
