  2. Ind 110-2published at 9 overs

Bernard Scholtz is into the attack and only allows India five runs.

The home side's momentum has been halted with the departure of Ishan Kishan but Namibia will know they still have their work cut out here.

  3. Ind 105-2published at 8 overs

Brilliant over from Gerhard Erasmus - a wicket and just one run conceded.

India captain Suryakumar Yadav, who is in the middle now, will be full of confidence having played that brilliant knock in their win against the United States.

We have been calling out for a change of pace and a bit of off-spin.

It wasn't the best ball. It was slightly short and I thought it was sailing over the ropes again, but the skipper Gerhard Erasmus has brought himself back on and he takes a vital wicket.

    Well done to the skipper!

Namibia skipper Gerhard Erasmus tries his luck with the ball and he makes an instant impact!

And it's the dangerous Ishan Kishan who falls to the captain as he pulls him only as far as Ben Shikongo at deep mid-wicket.

This should give Namibia some respite.

  6. Ind 104-1published at 7 overs

Namibia instantly regret that dropped catch as Ishan Kishan punish them with consecutive boundaries.

India brings up their 100 and are motoring, providing plenty of entertainment for this Delhi crowd.

Namibia just cannot afford to put down chances like that.

It went quickly to Louren Steenkamp's right at a slight awkward height, but he should've caught that.

You have to take the opportunities if India are setting them up for you.

  8. dropped catch

Varma dropped on 19published at 6.3 overs

    Ind 93-1

Louren Steenkamp has already had a catch today but you could say this one was an easier one.

Tilak Varma cuts Max Heingo straight to backward point but Steenkamp can't hold on despite getting both hands to it.

Ishan Kishan is dancing down the wicket and hitting sixes into the stands at the minute. He is hitting right over the bowlers head and using his sweep at times as well. I'm pretty sure he will stay in that sixth gear throughout this innings.

He is just getting so much time because these Namibia bowlers aren't getting around that high 80mph mark, they are getting more in the mid-70s.

It is looking pretty worrying for them, they are being batted out of the game here.

Sanju Samson is the only Indian wicket to fall after a cameo of 22 from eight balls.

But it all feels like a long time ago now, with the defending champions cruising and piling on the runs at will.

I think Namibia will have to spin it to win it. Let's see if they can do it.

But, at the moment, India are sitting very pretty. If they can push a little more here, they will be looking to get to 250. They will at least be targeting that figure.

Ishan Kishan makes it FOUR sixes in a row, just about clearing the boundary at backward square leg.

Another four to finish off the final over of the powerplay brings up his half-century.

He has reached his fifty in just 20 balls - what an innings it has been but he'd love to build on this!

  13. 6 runs

    Ind 76-1published at 5.4 overs

Final over the powerplay and there is no let up from India.

A change of bat for Ishan Kishan and he slog-sweeps JJ Smit for six from the second ball. Then he dances down the track and smashes another straight back over the bowler.

He doesn't time the next one well, but it still goes all the way. That's now THREE sixes in a row!

Ishan Kishan is such a clean striker. He is very strong, especially on the leg side through the on side. He favours that on side a bit more than the off side, so you have to get your line and length right against him.

The margin of error against these players are so small that you have to be precise.

There is a deep point and a deep square leg so there is no protection at the front of the pitch. For that reason, Namibia to go slightly back of length if they want to avoid those boundaries.

  15. Ind 58-1published at 5 overs

Another expensive over from Ruben Trumpelmann - 15 runs off it.

Ishan Kishan sets the tone by sweeping the Namibia bowler for a four to begin the over before Tilak Varma flicks one off his pads very fine for his first boundary.

He then steps down the crease and slaps Trumpelmann over cover for his second.

If there had been a direct hit there, the decision would have been mighty close.

There is a bit of yes and no, but on a closer look it looks very close.

  17. Ind 43-1published at 4 overs

Ishan Kishan is in real danger after some hesitation from the batters running between the wickets, but the throw from short third misses the stumps and he survives.

Unfazed by it all, Kishan then sends the next ball aerially through mid-wicket and into the boundary rope.

  18. Ind 35-1published at 3 overs

The UltraEdge shows a clear spike - Ishan Kishan has indeed nicked it onto his pad.

  19. Umpire reviewpublished at 3 overs

    Ind 35-1

JJ Smit strikes Ishan Kishan on the pad and turns around with a loud appeal.

The umpire's finger goes up but a confident Kishan reviews immediately. He believes he's got bat on it.

  20. Ind 35-1published at 2.5 overs

An early change for Namibia as JJ Smit has the ball in his hand.

But Ishan Kishan continues the onslaught by slapping Smit for two boundaries in quick succession.
