    I would have put Ryan Burl in at three to keep the left-hand, right-hand combination. This match-up is too similar so it is hard to see what the thoughts were in the dressing room to bring in Dion Myers.

    Well that was an important breakthrough for India.

    They remove the threat of Tadiwanashe Marumani for just 20 runs. The first step in their punt for a big victory at Chidambaram Stadium.

    It was going to be a difficult task for Tadiwanashe Marumani. He loves his sweep and reverse sweeps shots but that is difficult against Axar Patel.

    He had to change his game and try something else but he goes on that occasion.

    They combine to remove Tadiwanashe Marumani after the left-hander attempted an ambitious shot towards deep backward point, but there were enough fielders around to take the catch.

    Actually, Brian Bennett manages to find a way past Jasprit Bumrah not once but twice.

    He lofts a shot towards the deep square leg boundary for a four off Bumrah's second delivery, then backs it up with a hit down the ground for another four off Bumrah's fifth delivery.

    A tidy eight runs from what could've been a tricky over.

    Every run is crucial when you are chasing such a big total.

    It is a clever flick behind the stumps from the left-hander, and it cruises over the fine leg boundary.

    That'll give the opening pair a lift!

    An impressive opening over from India's swing bowler Arshdeep Singh. Zimbabwe only manage a couple of singles and a two off his first six deliveries.

    They need to get their power-hitting in order to start making a dent in this chase during the powerplay though. Otherwise, it the required run-rate will continue to escape them.
