Shivam Dube is attempting this wide line. Experimentation is not a bad thing but you would think he would just want to close this game off.

Brian Bennett picked up that length very quickly and will have been delighted with that gift from Shivam Dube.

Well, no matter the verdict, Brian Bennett will have a good go at it.

He follows his latest six up with back-to-back fours, one straight down the ground at long off and one edged behind him past third man.

Oh, and then then he finishes up the over with another six over the boundary at deep extra cover!

It's an expensive one for Shivam Dube, who concedes a total of 22 runs and four extras from his opening over.

Oh hello! Brian Bennett bangs another one out the park.

His latest six soars into the stands at deep mid-wicket.

I know he's only on 60 runs right now, but could he get close to a century tonight? Thumbs up for yes, thumbs down for no.

  5. Zim 105-2published at 14 overs

Zimbabwe take seven runs and an extra off the latest over to finally surpass 100 runs.

The biggest hit came off captain Sikandar Raza, who muscled a shot that raced towards the boundary at deep extra cover.

Zimbabwe know they need more than this current run-rate though.

Jasprit Bumrah has developed and become a threat to anyone he plays against. He is a serious wicket-taker with control and great execution.

    A champion bowler.

  7. Zim 97-2published at 13 overs

Jasprit Bumrah will be happier with the tail end of his latest over.

Zimbabwe only manage three singles off the back of Brian Bennett's six, so it's all gone quiet once again.

This has been a terrific half-century from Brian Bennett. He has stood tall in his innings and controlled the yorkers well.

    Terrific play.

    It's a six and a half-century for Brian Bennett!

It can be tricky facing Jasprit Bumrah in the crease, but he doesn't seem fazed today! He absolutely thwacks one over the boundary rope at long on.

He's been absolutely class with the bat in hand so far.

  10. Zim 87-2published at 12 overs

Varun Chakravarthy sees out his third over with the ball in hand slightly more quietly though.

He only gives up three singles after that six. He knows the score.

It's danger-man Jasprit Bumrah who comes back into the bowling attack.

  11. 6 runs

    Zim 84-2published at 11.2 overs

Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza is clearly keen to take things into his own hands!

He bodies a stunning six into the stand at deep mid-wicket. That one had some length on it! It was 88 metres to be precise.

  12. Zim 78-2published at 11 overs

Now Axar Patel absolutely cruises through his over as well.

Zimbabwe only manage a handful of singles to increase their run total to 78, but we all know they need a lot more to make a dent on this run chase.

  13. Zim 73-2published at 10 overs

Varun Chakravarthy sees out his second over of the innings having taken a wicket and only conceded two runs.

He has been so handy with the ball throughout this tournament! Amazingly clinical stuff.

Varun Chakravarthy doing what he does best. Dion Myers was undone with the extra bounce.

Even after being around for a long time, the batters still struggle to read the India bowling.

Tilak Varma picks the ball out of the air to send Dion Myers on his way!

That's a very important wicket for India, who are now 99% favourites on the win predictor.

It's all looking very rocky for Zimbabwe now...

Brian Bennett is building nicely here!

He dispatches his second six of the innings well over the boundary rope at long on. It didn't quite reach the stands though.

Then he follows it up with a brilliant four through the field, followed by another six into the stands at deep mid-wicket.

The real question here is how close can Zimbabwe get and how does that impact net run rate in case India vs West Indies has no result...

The wicketkeeper convinced everybody but Jasprit Bumrah did not like it at all.

  20. Zim 51-1published at 8 overs

Jasprit Bumrah sees out another brilliant over, conceding just three runs.

India have lost a review though after referring a not-out decision upstairs, but the ball clearly doesn't clip Brian Bennett's bat and he survives.

Zimbabwe's required run-rate is now sitting sky-high at over 17.00! We talk about having a mountain to climb, how about a whole mountain range?
