    Somerset 304-5 v Sussex

Tom Abell tucks Fynn Hudson-Prentice round the corner for a single - and that takes Somerset to 300 and a second batting point in 86.5 overs.

The next ball is driven firmly down the ground by Craig Overton for four.

  2. Gloucestershire all out for 154published at 17:32 BST 15 May

    Gloucs 154 v Northants

It's all over. Harry Conway wraps up the innings by having number 11 Gabe Bell caught behind.

Bell is squared up on the crease, nicking that ball to the keeper.

A disappointing innings for the hosts in tough conditions.

Only Ollie Price (50 not out off 146 balls) offered sustained resistance.

Conway finishes with 2-54. Sanderson was the pick of the bowlers with 5-47. Back here in 10 minutes.

    Dickson c Yates b Bamber 33 (Glamorgan 287-5 v Warwickshire)

Just like that, with the fifth delivery of the new ball, Warwickshire make a much needed breakthrough.

Ethan Bamber claims his second victim of the innings in the shape of Sean Dickson, who the delivery appears to have caught out a little. He departs for 33, having nicked one to Ed Barnard in the slips. He takes the catch well.

  4. 300 runs

300 up for Yorkshirepublished at 17:30 BST 15 May

    Yorkshire 303-4 v Surrey

Yorkshire comfortably pick up their second batting point of the day as Jonny Bairstow carves a short, wide delivery through backward point to the boundary to move onto 87 not out and the White Rose pass 300.

    Northeast c McKinney b Raine 141 (Kent 364-2 v Durham)

    Boy, did they need that.

Ben Raine finds the edge of Sam Northeast's bat as he tries to flick the ball to leg and Ben McKinney takes the catch at a wide second slip, ending a 303-run stand for Kent's second wicket.

Northeast batted for 255 minutes, faced 205 balls and hit 14 fours.

Ben Dawkins - on 168 - has now been joined by Tawanda Muyeye.

  6. Lancs' innings under waypublished at 17:28 BST 15 May

    Lancashire 0-0 v Worcs 270

George Balderson continues to open the batting for Lancashire with Keaton Jennings in the absence of Luke Wells.

Balderson allows Tom Taylor's first ball to go through to the wicket-keeper.

  7. 50 runs

50 for Ollie Pricepublished at 17:26 BST 15 May

    Gloucs 154-9 v Northants

Short from Harry Conway and Ollie Price cuts the ball away through point for a hard-fought half century.

    146 balls with five fours.

  8. new ball

New ball taken at Edgbastonpublished at 17:26 BST 15 May

    Glamorgan 286-4 v Warwickshire

To nobody's surprise, Warwickshire's front-line seam bowler Ethan Bamber is thrown the new ball by his captain Ed Barnard at the beginning of the 80th over, with Glamorgan in cruise control.

  9. Five-wicket haul for Sandersonpublished at 17:25 BST 15 May

    Gloucs 153-9 v Northants

That Taylor wicket gives Ben Sanderson figures of 18.5-3-5-47.

  10. wicket

    Taylor c Zaib b Sanderson (Gloucs 159-9 v Northants)

Gone! Northants are nearly through Gloucestershire and Ollie Price is stuck on 49.

A short ball from Ben Sanderson is pulled by Matt Taylor to Saif Zaib at deep square leg.

Number 11 Gabe Bell is in.

  11. 300 partnership for Kentpublished at 17:24 BST 15 May

    Kent 364-1 v Durham

Sam Northeast whips Ben Raine away for two runs and that is a 300-run partnership between him and Ben Dawkins.

The new ball has made little difference so far.

  12. new ball

New ball takenpublished at 17:23 BST 15 May

    Yorkshire 298-4 v Surrey

The new ball has immediately been taken by Surrey at Headingley.

No surprise there, as Yorkshire's fifth-wicket partnership between centurion Adam Lyth and Jonny Bairstow is now worth 177 with the floodlights still on.

Dan Worrall immediately comes back into the attack for the visitors.

  13. wicket

    Green c Allison b Snater 23 (Essex v Leics 294-7)

Ben Green pulls a short ball from Shane Snater but gets too far underneath and it's a simple catch for Charlie Allison at mid-wicket.

Ben Mike is the new batter - joining Stevie Eskinazi, who is 43 not out.

  14. Postpublished at 17:20 BST 15 May

    Glamorgan 275-4 v Warwickshire

Since losing Colin Ingram with the first ball after tea, Glamorgan have actually counter attacked Warwickshire and have denied any Bears hopes thus far that this final session of the day might belong to the hosts.

Ben Kellaway (132*) has quickly parked his ton and is already pressing on at some rate, ably supported by Sean Dickson (24*) at the other end.

Warwickshire are a matter of minutes away from being able to take the new ball. You imagine they will not hang around in deciding to.

  15. Prediction time at Beckenhampublished at 17:18 BST 15 May

    Kent 352-1 v Durham

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

Even with the new ball taken, I am going to predict there will be no more wickets today. I am happy to be wrong but this is not a fair contest between bat and ball.

The track is far too batsman-friendly and Durham's only wicket today came in the morning session.

I will also predict one of the bowlers will go for more than 200 runs.

Kent are 352-1 against Durham. Ben Dawkins, who was dropped on 63, has a career-best 160. Sam Northeast, who was dropped on 73, now has 137. The partnership is 291.

It already eclipses - by a country mile - the 109 put on for the second wicket by Mark Benson and Neil Taylor, which was a record for Kent v Durham until today. That was in the first first-class meeting between these two in 1992.

Meanwhile the England captain Ben Stokes is reportedly "under the weather" today, although he has recently been bowling.

WORCESTERSHIRE ALL OUT FOR 270published at 17:17 BST 15 May

    Waite c Singh b Anderson 77 (Lancs v Worcs 270)

A superb diving catch from Harry Singh means Worcestershire are all out for 270.

An excellent and entertaining innings from Matthew Waite - who top scores with 77 - comes to an end as he looks to crunch another boundary into the off side but instead picks out Singh who dives forward for his second catch of the innings.

James Anderson ends with 2-55 off his 14.4 overs.

We still have a decent chunk of cricket left to play today. After Worcestershire were left 107-6, they will be delighted with the amount of runs the tail have been able to get on the board.

    Vaughan c Simpson b Clark 29 (Somerset 297-5 v Sussex)

Tom Clark is back in the attack and strikes with the second ball of his spell.

It's another soft dismissal for Somerset as Archie Vaughan drives from the crease and edges wide and low to keeper John Simpson.

The stands might become hard hat areas - as the big hitting Craig Overton makes his way to the middle.

    Good catch.

Eathan Bosch takes his first wicket at Lord's as he finds the edge of Luis Reece's bat and Ryan Higgins completes the dismissal at third slip.

  19. Postpublished at 17:17 BST 15 May

    Gloucs 153-8 v Northants

Harry Conway gets the ball to bounce and nibble away from Matt Taylor.

A short ball is pulled to deep square for one - albeit awkwardly.

Ollie Price defends down the ground.

  20. Postpublished at 17:15 BST 15 May

    Lancs v Worcs 267-9

A well-timed cover drive dissects two fielders on the boundary for four more to Matthew Waite.

The new ball just races away - Waite moves to 74 not out. Worcestershire will be delighted with how they have recovered since just after lunch.

It's erratic bowling from Lancashire though, in truth.
