    Then, it would be good if they can find a way of getting Ben Stokes out on the field.

    Although Australia are on top in Sydney, it was England all-rounder Jacob Bethell who stole the headlines on day four.

    He scored his maiden first-class hundred, hitting Beau Webster for four to bring up the milestone in style.

    He remains unbeaten on 142 off 232 balls, including 15 fours.

    Jacob Bethell, who walked out during the first over of England's innings, is unbeaten on 142 (232) while Matthew Potts is on 0 (10). Josh Tongue will come in at number 11.

    We've made it - day five of the fifth and final Ashes Test. It only seems like yesterday that I was setting a midnight alarm ready to kick things off on day one in Perth...

    Okay, not quite yesterday.

    If you started then and are still with us now - congratulations! You've seen a lot - two-day Tests, Australia crushing England's hopes inside 11 days, Travis Head fireworks, more Mitchell Starc wickets than you can shake a stick at, not one, but two Joe Root centuries, and now a maiden first-class ton for Jacob Bethell.

    It would take something extra special for England to avoid a 4-1 defeat in Sydney. Time to see what else Bethell has up his sleeve...
