I think it is going to happen quickly.

To be honest, I can't see this game going to tomorrow now. With England's attitude and this pitch, they will want to play shots.

The only way this game goes tomorrow is if England are not all out, and they somehow survive it.

Australia, across their two innings have lasted a total of 79.5 overs.

Which is the shortest they have batted since Don Bradman's debut in 1928.

If England go out and play their shots and get away with a few, you never know.

How many caught behind and caught in the slips could Australia have left?

We can sit here and analyse, but it is not quite the same when you're out there.

    So, what are England's chances?

Well, WinViz has them as firm favourites - but they will have to record the highest score of the match to complete their first win in Australia since Sydney 2011.

Either way, we're likely in for a second two-day Test of this series.

This is the era of Test cricket where we give you five days in two.

I do feel for those spectators who have paid for the fourth and fifth day and are going to miss out.

Richardson c Crawley b Stokes 7 (Aus 132 all out)

    That's it!

England need 175 runs to win after Ben Stokes wraps up the Australia innings.

Jhye Richardson balloons the England skipper's delivery up in the air and the ball drops right on top of Zak Crawley at cover.

Steve Smith is backing his number 11, Jhye Richardson.

A nice straight drive from Richardson. Brydon Carse is changing his plans, going short then full at the stumps.

Brydon Carse needs to get back to the length that has troubled everyone else.

Steve Smith again takes a single off the first ball of the over, but Jhye Richardson shows us why he might be happy to do that.

The Australia tailender pulls square for three, then, having returned to the strike, confidently drives down the ground for four.

Crucial runs for the cause from Richardson, who averages 21.68 in the first-class cricket - not bad for a number 11.

  10. Aus 122-9published at 33 overs

    Lead by 164

Steve Smith pops Ben Stokes' first ball into the off side and runs a single - exposing last man Jhye Richardson.

The decision doesn't cost him, with the tailender surviving the remaining five balls of the over.

Carse has undoubtedly been our best bowler this innings.

We have now seen a wicket because of a no-ball!

Looked a nice ball from Brydon Carse, and Australia are losing wickets in clumps today.

One more to go for England.

Well, the no-ball and extra ball works in England's favour.

    Starc c Root b Carse 0 (Aus 121-9)

Make that four wickets for Brydon Carse!

Brydon Carse's first ball to Mitchell Starc is called for a tight over-step no-ball, but the England seamer takes advantage of the over's extra ball.

He cramps Starc for room and elicits a nick that is pouched by Joe Root at first slip.

Australia lost wickets four to six for six runs before lunch, they've now lost seven to nine for two runs.

    Excellent grab!

Michael Neser has indeed been winkled swiftly, he goes for a duck as Brydon Carse shoots out his left hand in his follow-through to complete a sharp caught and bowled.

A third wicket of the innings for Carse, at the cost of 24 runs.

This is game is moving along at a rate of knots.

This wicket still has something in it for the bowlers.

  17. Aus 119-7published at 31 overs

    Lead by 161

Michael Neser comes to the crease and leaves Stokes' final delivery, a leg-side bouncer.

A wicket maiden for Stokes, who will be hoping his side can swiftly winkle out Neser, who was Australia's top scorer in the first innings, with 35.

Cameron Green tried to guide it through the gully area and it bounced on him. No real control there. England are back in it now.

  20. wicket

    Green c Brook b Stokes 19 (Aus 119-7)

    No question about that carrying!

Ben Stokes brings himself back into the attack and he makes a breakthrough with his fifth delivery, drawing a strange open-faced dab from Cameron Green.

The ball flies to Harry Brook at second slip, who takes the catch comfortably - no dive required for that one.
